Not all newspapers are delivered daily. Probably would have been important to know that this guy's newspapers are daily.

The body was found in a pool of dried blood on a Thursday. This means the body has been dead for a while, and we heard that the Monday newspaper was still outside when his body was found, meaning he was dead before Monday. If he was dead before Monday, and his door was open, The mailman would have seen his door open Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, but he only reported it Thursday
It could have only happened after Monday morning as there are only two bottles of milk we can assume that the milkman comes on alternate days and when the milk was delivered in the morning the man was alive I'd he had died on Sunday the the smell of blood would have been relatively fresh and the milkman would have checked
I thought it was weird how all those like flyers and packages were delivered probably afterMonday, but noone cared enough to see the door was open,

Not neccessarily, the newspaper for Monday could be interchanged with Tuesday or Wednesday as long as its not Thursday. Why? If the rich man was killed in Monday surely the door would be opened at Monday as well yes? But why was it that the mailman called at Thursday and not Monday? So you order/die Monday. You can still be receiving stuff from Prime, Tuesday, Wed and Thursday and that's perfectly normal. He didn't have to place the order the same day.
Also if you say he couldn't have ordered anything, you are suggesting that the person who killed him ordered items to his house, in his name. So your statement was false and even if it was true, it proves absolutely nothing.
