Helmet on mine was glued to the shoulder pads, so I had no head articulation out of the box. I couldn't snap the glue, even after heating, since the pieces were so soft, so I had to cut it with a pocket knife. Amazing figure, but QC seems to be all over the place.
It is, Next time, dish soap and hot water, trust me. After a few mins it totally dissolves the glue they use.
And now you just got another sub.. I'm more into the custom game.. but I have a whole new respect for neca after this video

Stealth Shadow Master one looks far better to me. Glad I picked him up the shadow master.

My shadow master has the same issue with the stiff crooked stuck torso,you used a hair dryer right? How did you do it though?
You just aim hair dryer at the torso, a few inches away for less 10 - 20 seconds, move his torso once he's warmed up.

Do you happen to know a safe way to exchange his arms? (Shadow Master version)
I'm having trouble removing the fists he comes with in the package. Even heat didn't help and I dare not use more strength out of fear of breaking him.
If a hair dryer doesn't help (which is VERY odd since it makes that material very flexible) then check to see it's not gotten glue on it and try hot water, that gets inside and helps heat it all.
I watched your video and it was very informative. The down side is... customizing the Super Shredder is not easy at all... i don't have your patience. I would use the hair dryer for 30 secs ever cycle to try to loosen the head from the helmet. But the helmet was too much to remove from the head. So instead I manage to remove the mask and re-glue it in the corrected position. So the mask is no longer crooked.
Glad it was helpful! yeah, it is time consuming work. One of the main reasons custom work is expensive.
@@RonnyHazeMAPP Question is it possible to heat the crown without warping and cracking the plastic? i have a Shadow Master i want to fix
Collector of all the Neca TMNT..bought super shredder and he came with his upper and lower torso all jacked up..couldn't move it without heating it with a blow dryer😑

Excuse me Ronny Haze, if you by any chance happen to notice this, how exactly did you remove the helmet of your Super Shredder figure?
The reason why I ask is because I'm going to try to contact the people who work for NECA to find out if they could send a replacement helmet for my figure because the tip end of the top helmet blade broke when my figure fell off of the shelf and hit the frame of my bed and when I applied just a dab of gorilla super glue glue to it and let it dried for a while, it fell backwards on the shelve and the tip of the helmet blade still broke off.
So if you would please share your method of how you carefully removed the helmet, I would really appreciate it.
I just warmed it with a hair dryer, and slowly used a think metal sculpting tool to work it loose.

Sure, for now though it's literally just warming up the plastic. Either 10-20 seconds of a hair dryer or hot water and they pop right apart with little pressure.
