hello, i like your channel and some of the philosophers you are exploring ... looking forward to checking out other videos ... this one is excellent as i've thought for a while now the main moral/ethical question is how we orientate our actions towards the future, and that movement helps to simplify/straighten out/align our moral/ethical questions in the eternal present, by pointing the way, etc. ty/gl
It seems obvious to me that Parfit was autistic. Not only because of his "eccentricities", or his "odd" relationship to his own body, but really for his philosophy of identity. For an Autistic person, this way of looking at identity resonates 100%. Thank you for this episode.
