Future generations are not interested in working a 9-5 job. All they want to do is becoming a Content Creators/Influencers, which like you said is very new and unstable industry. They believe that all you have to do is pick up a camera and automatically they'll have millions of followers, the car, the house, go on brand trips all over the world, when in reality you have to work your butt off for years to accomplish those goals.
Plus, by not having real life work experiences they'll have no money management experience, they wouldn't understand business contracts, they'll have no business communication skills which will lead to them being taken advantage of.
So, I totally agree Work Experience is definitely necessary before venturing into the world of self employment.
Always appreciate your honesty regarding the reality of Content Creation, it's truly fascinating.
