Hi Leah! I’m new to long arm quilting and just purchased this machine. Go big or go home, right!? Haha. I’m a bit terrified to use it. I’m glad we will be learning together. So, isn’t it possible to change the needle up/down position in the settings so that it stops in the down position in precise mode? I think precise will be my preferred if I can change that setting.
I really like the double photo you’re showing us. Did you do a tutorial showing how to put leader cloth on and how the poles should be on longarm? Where would I find it? My frame has two roll bars, front and back. I bought it used several years ago and has a Q’nique 15 on it. The machine works great but wonder how I’m doing with the bars? Can you give me some feed back?
I have a few different tutorials on this... it sounds like you have an Idler Rail in the back, so this tutorial will likely be helpful: leahday.com/blogs/machinequilting/continuum-loading Keep in mind - there's no right or wrong way to do this. Put the leaders on how it works best for you, gives you the best visibility and makes loading faster. This takes a few times to get a system down so - make lots of quilts!
Yes, the cord plugs into the back of this longarm machine and then into the wall. I do have QCT, which puts a power strip on the bottom carriage, but the length of cord is the same and plugs into a socket in the wall.
Yes, I'm using the original Continuum Frame. The Continuum II has many nice features I wish I had. I just haven't wanted to bother with replacing my frame completely when it's still compatible with our Qnique longarms.
Thank you. I didn't really understand manual stitching before your video.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Leah...as usual...wonderful info & very professional (in my opinion).
Thanks so much! You are so kind Maureen!
Such fun Leah!💕🧵
I'm having a blast! I love this machine!

Not that I've seen so far. It's a question I'll ask in my next dealer meeting with Grace Company.

Can we ask how you set up the back. Where are the cords?

Hi Leah TY for your videos :) In precise mode i see the needle up button if thats tapped will that be needle down ?
Yes, you can change this on the screen or on the handles.
Is that 21X on an original Continuum frame?? Why did Grace make the Continuum II frame ??
