Leah love your videos so natural.
This is the best technique for beginning and ending threads on a long arm or domestic machine. Thanks for teaching us. I’ve had you on my mind the last few days and was so excited when I saw a new video. I pray you and all your loved ones are well. Take care.
Thank you Leah... it was very helpful.
Missed you glad to finally catch you again
I actually use the same method of bringing up and ending and cutting the thread at the end on my domestic machine. I learned it by watching some videos about longarm quilting.
Oh my gosh - thanks so much for sharing this video! I've been struggling with a large block on my longarm and was not sure how I would approach it without all the stop/starts showing, I think this will work well! Game Changer!
Glad it was helpful!
Leah Thank you for the Great tips.
Miss you! Come back soon to finish your Podcast reading on Molly the maker. And all your other wonderful tips and tricks for life 'Quilting'
Blessings to you and your family!
Just what I needed! Sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference.
Thank you Leah! So good to hear from you again!
I have a dickens of a time doing this on the frame. I usually do it later, but it would be SO much better to do it like you do. I will have to try again. I tried the other method many use by securing by stitching and you are so right. Your method really leaves a cleaner beginning and end!
Thank you!!! I am going to need to watch the ending part a few more times but I finally understand how to do this!
Great information, thanks. Congratulations on your wonderful family news, your son will love her when she is here for him to see.
Yay! It's good to see you again. I've been coming back to your channel frequently to see if you've posted a video. I've been concerned about you and have prayed for you that all is well. So glad you're back. Blessings to you.

Thank you!
A big congratulation shout out to you and your family with your new addition to be........do I see a few girly quilts coming....
LOL! Hopefully soon!
New to this THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...... I am wondering where I might be able to purchase something I saw in another video (much older video) it is a small hat of sorts for the needles that you have used to pin the quilt sandwhich so that the pins do not prick you. I did not catch what you called them something like a pin war, I searched your site and many others and could not find these. Have a great day.
Those were Pinmoors and unfortunately I'm unable to get them any longer.
Cheater needle is also called a Calyx Eye needle.
Thank you! I have a mid-arm. Same principle?
Yep! If you don't have a thread cutter, this works the exact same way no matter the style of machine.
