Greenpeace will privately acknowledge the interdependence of many such problems as these and the gross overpopulation of the world, currently more than double that reckoned to be sustainable level of 4 billion, though some say the maximum sustainable population is 3 billion. Greenpeace made it's name and earned respectability by grasping thorny issues and bringing "open secrets" into the mainstream. I think it long past time Greenpeace stopped discussing this in private and made the interdependence of many world problems and overpopulation a public debate...
