I think most new moms have this dream of having the baby and everything being beautiful and wonderful and then after you have to baby, everything changes! No sleep, body issues, hormones going crazy, and so much more. It does get better. Parenting is the toughest job, no matter how old your kids are, but it is the BEST thing ever! Also, if you have the chance to be a stay at home mom, do it as it is the best thing ever for your child/children. Teaching will always be there....don't go back for a long time! I am subbing now and I love it! My kids are grown so it works out perfect :) Love the chatty videos!
I appreciate how honest you are! You can clearly see how absolutely loved Jack is. Hope you are having a lovely Christmas/new year period with lots of family&friends 💜💜
Toddler loving mama here! Newborn stage was the worst time of my entire life. I’m not sure how I survived it twice. I love toddlers so much! They’re so much fun and watching their personality shine is the best. I’ll take a million toddler tantrums over a needy blob who can’t walk or talk, doesn’t sleep, and depends on my body to be fed.
I appreciate you being willing to talk about marriage and being open about that topic. I wish I had a video like that to watch after having my second. Nobody told me how having another baby could potentially change/affect my relationship with my spouse and holy moly…. after having her, it was literally the worst year for our marriage out of 8. It was so hard. Going from 1 to 2 was extremely difficult for us. I felt like I had no one to talk to because it can be a very uncomfortable thing to vent about to close friends or family because you want to protect your spouse and your relationship. My husband did nothing wrong, and I did nothing wrong. It was simply just the dynamic of our entire world shifting again, and us navigating how to adapt. The only issue was that it felt like we were on a faster timeline because of already having a child. There was no time to sit and slowly adjust to life with a newborn and a 4 year old. It was hard. I say all of that to say, I have always appreciated your openness, so thank you for being real. As much as your videos are here for people in similar circumstances and times of need, we are also here for you ❤ I hope you, Kyle and baby Jack have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year 🎉
Fed is definitely best! I had the same exact experience with breastfeeding. Around 8 weeks we transitioned to using my breast milk from storage and then eventually formula. My mental health needed some attention and I do not regret it!
I had such a similar experience with breastfeeding. I was miserable, stressed, in pain and neither my son or I were happy. When I switched to formula everyone was so much happier! I went into the birth of my second wanting to try again, but also okay with doing formula if that worked best. I had so much less pressure on myself. I enjoyed combo feeding my second for 8 months.
Fed is definitely best!! I only breastfed the first couple weeks before ultimately switching exclusively pumped for 11 months for my little one. It was the hardest job I’ve have physically and emotionally. Especially the middle of the night pumps to maintain your supply even when baby starts sleeping through the night not to mention the constant rotation of dirty pump parts and bottles & bagging and freezing milk. It’s a full time job. 😅 He is 14 months now and I still have some frozen & feed him 1/2 and 1/2 whole milk/ breast milk bottles from my stash. I was lucky enough I have a good supply but my next kid if breastfeeding doesn’t work I don’t think I will put myself through another exclusively pumping journey will definitely not be ashamed to try formula.
Loved this video! My husband and I are TTC and I love going back to my fav channels and watch their videos of finding out they are pregnant! That is how I found your channel & have been here since!
You’re looking awesome M! as a mom of a 30 yr old I really wished I enjoyed the baby phase more, I feel like I survived it. You’re miles ahead for realizing this now😍❤️everything always ends up being ok.
Love that you touched on your struggles with breastfeeding! I stopped breastfeeding my little guy at 6 weeks and we have both been so much happier since! I kept going back and forth on whether or not I should switch to formula. I literally almost texted you to ask your opinion on switching 🤪
I'm going on 5 months of exclusively pumping. It's tough. Routine was hard at first. I plan to go as long as my body will allow. Highly recommend a portable pump. Amazon has some good ones for decent price.
I am a Mom of one son. He now has a 10 year old girl and twin boys who are 6. Love being a Grandma you csn spoil them and you know they will be going home. Lol Our son did not like sleeping when he was growing up and still says sleep is overated. He sleeps 4 hours and is good to go.
