I completely relate with you about the feelings you get leaving your child. It’s so hard to prioritize yourself as a first time mom and I didn’t think I would feel that way.
Thank you Madison for this vlog! Love the Christmas 🌲 decorating you did to your home. Came out great. I’m glad you were able to get a date night in too, that’s so important. Baby Jack is getting so big already. 💕
When we went to FL with our daughter we opted to buy things like diapers and wipes out there (obviously we had some in our diaper bag for before/on the plane) so we didn’t have those bulky thing in our suitcase. We also got a portable bottle washing kit (lifesaver) and a smaller stroller that folded up to fit nicely in our rental car instead of our big Greco one.
My son is 2 months old so we are right behind you I'm so glad I found your channel and I also think about sleep all the time too I'm so thankful for you please keep posting vlogs
I was super lucky when my first baby was young because my sister lived with us and was our nanny while I was finishing my student teaching. So I could leave the house and not have to take her out anywhere. I think having to get your baby in the car with all the stuff and drop them off somewhere makes it harder. When someone can come to the house and watch him there it feels less guilty. 😂 But you definitely should allow yourself that time. You can’t be a good mom if you aren’t healthy.
Babies are easier to travel with than toddlers. Don’t worry too much about it. After the first flight you will feel more confident. You can gate check the car seat and stroller so definitely utilize that. It will help having that through the airport rather than having to carry him with your carry ons until you pick up your stuff in baggage claim. Plus it’s free to gate check those things 😊

I love the older Christmas music!!! My favorite song is The Christmas Spirit by Ray Charles. I also love Christmas music by Elvis Presley.
I have a whole playlist of Christmas songs I love.
