Ok that storm Lord is on my wish list. As an imperial fist player, i have to respect that many bolts flying at once. As an ork player, I want to loot it and model a big mek literally throwing handfuls of bolts from the cupola.
My face when it finally dawns on me that most of these Baneblade variants have armor comparable in thickness to the main armor belt of an early Dreadnaught-type battleship This is why I love the Imperial Guard.
@@GrimDarkNarrator It isn't steel, granted, but armor values are still greatly overestimated. If they make shells of something like Adamanium and they use sabot rounds, they could penetrate some crazy amount of armor including even titans. This is inconsistent. We have city walls kilometres thick and tanks the size of buildings, why the hell do they need to be this big if their armor is so thin? Leman Russ could do 1\3 of its size and still have all of its weapons. Apparently, in far future of STCs the tanks are worse than Emperor-damned MBTs in every regard.
Blame it on the arch-douchebag Horus and his galactic sale temper tantrum. Before the heresy, Astartes and the Imperial Army had a lot of overlap in tank choices.
@@GrimDarkNarrator is that a thing? I'm going to start buying pieces for my army again and if that's authorized then I'm interested for obvious reasons lol

The Stormx and BaneX makes sense since they are hull classes and it sets them apart for turreted or non-turreted.
That’s a nice transport for a Lord Inquisitor!
Get me closer. I want to hit them with my sword!
Top all four sponsons with assault cannon and multi-melta, stick a thudd gun in the compartment... Yeah.

Wait, they only have like 200mm of armor? WW2 era shells could penetrate them.
Armour might be made from different alloys.

It galls me that the IG have better tanks than the Astartes!
