I found your video while poking around. I have a 680 rincon that won't go into reverse, it grinds hard. looking for ideas on what to do before I attack it and tear it apart. I just want to know if a bad torue converter is to blame. It also grinds going into forward gear but not as much. Thanks for your info
I would start by checking your gearshift linkage (shifter cable) to see if it’s properly adjusted you would need the service manual. Over time the cable can stretch. If that doesn’t help then I would say it’s your shifter final(gear) in your sub transmission the gear is warn and it’s not engaging properly. If you want I can send you an email with some pictures of what I’m talking about. I had to change that gear (shifter final) couple month ago . I put a different gear that had less “teeth” so it’s easier to engage. Once replaced for the different gear it won’t happen again.
Longstory short The quad was really beat up when I bought it . Before rebuild engine had : Black smoke coming out of tail pipe - Hard to keep running when it was cold always wanted to stall - Lots of ticking noise - Bike would shake a lot at idle .. Delayed shifting from second to third - felt like it would take for ever to hit third. It would stall randomly as well. It would grind into gear . Etc etc After the rebuild all above was fixed except stalling randomly again. I drove the quad hard for a month it shifted nice into third assuming it’s because of torque converter. The shaking stoped as well again assuming it was torque converter. I’m pretty sure it fixed it but that engine/transmission had so much miles hard to say how long it would of lasted that’s why I took it apart and kept the good parts for back up for my 680 -
What's up friend, does this really work? What type of diluent to use? I have a problem with my corner 05 650, Thanks good video

Hey I was wondering if this fixed your issue permanently or did it last a few months
