You missed the Wirex card. I’ve been using it for the last 2 years nou and are quite happy it is worth looking in to. You can get Up to 20% on some coins.
For me it’s about putting most of my income in crypto and just saving as much in that account but making purchases/pay bills. The rewards are great but I’m more so trying to create a crypto account I can use for everyday.
I didn’t realize when I said it, but in editing I considered flashing an pic of David Copperfield! I didn’t think enough people would get it… glad YOU heard it too!
The BlockFi card is trash 🗑️ I've had 2 disputes with merchants and they had no interest in taking them seriously. The first time they didn't even request documentation from me, but instead just went with what the merchant said. They use a Mickey Mouse bank, Evolve, so you're not getting quality protection like you would from more established banks (Citi, Chase, etc)
I also had a poor dispute experience through Block Fi and Deserve. I ended up winning in the end, but their "investigation" was a joke. Initially they ruled in favor of the merchant, but I had to point out to them that the merchant provided evidence that confirmed I was correct. They just didn't read the evidence... Investigation reopened and I won finally. One clarification: Deserve is not a bank. Evolve Bank issues the card.
@@wojackhorseman2921 You're good! I think Deserve is still to blame as they're handling the dispute; it's their CC, their platform.. just somewhere down the line a bank has to issue the card. I looked up the bank issuing my card, because the bank has a regulator. I informed Deserve I would file complaints with said regulator and others if they didn't actually investigate properly and fairly. They overturned their initial decision and resolved in my favor soon after that (: Annoying and a waste of time!
I personally have the jade green CRO card and I love it. I found a loop to getting more cro that actually works really neat. I put all the cro that I get, from cashback, interest and so on on defi wallet staking, to earn even more cro (currently about 11%), additionally I for now also add a part of my salary monthly to defi wallet staking. I hope that at some point, it will be enough to get the icy white one.
Nice setup for passive income. I have the CDC Steel Ruby card upgraded to Royal Indigo, Jade Green level and also regularly feed my CDC Defi Wallet for higher returns, etc. In addition I also invest in the CDC Crypto Earn and Supercharger. Is this something you do or have considered?
Hello sir. I am a big fan of Voyager and you unfortunately completely misinterpreted the value of their card and quite frankly the information was completely inaccurate. The Voyager Debit Card is not some pre-paid card like the rest of them. It is a complete replacement of your regular bank account. It comes with a checking and routing # and has ACH bill pay. It runs on USDC and pays a 9% yield. So essentially it is a bank account that pays a 9% yield. It also offers 1-3% crypto back if you are in the Voyager loyalty program. It is BY FAR the best offering in the Crypto space. You should probably talk to Voyager or someone in the ecosystem to learn more about it, because your review is WAY OFF.
I’ve had a good experience so far. I was very hesitant to switch to a debit card because I tend to not pay close attention to what I’m spending. With a credit card, I know there’s plenty of credit limit available so it doesn’t matter. Also, I know debit cards are more of a pain to deal with if there is a fraudulent or erroneous charge. So far so good. Switching has been easier to get used to than I thought. The card is technically a prepaid card, meaning you “top up” the balance for the card itself rather than the amounts just being deducted from your account. I like that.
@@HeythereDavehere Just a thought. Recently they introduced to me Spending Power. Where I can use 50% of my earn collateral as credit for my royal indigo card visa debt) I noticed my friend doesn't have this option yet on his card. I am testing it out. Its free for 7 days, then after that its 9.9% interest apr.
@@9thebigcool same card as you, I just got the blue card instead of jade. I have used the spending power feature and it works well, I paid it off before the 7 days and I didn't get charged any interest. I heard they haven't rolled this feature out to everyone yet. Maybe I am the beta client. You have to have something in the earn program to use this I do believe. I have 300 usdc and some eth on a 3 month earn.
I have been using the Binance card as my main card for like a year by now. I think it's great. I was already holding BNB as well, which obviously just made it more of a no-brainer.
I just got my Gemini creditcard in the mail a couple days ago. I wasn't expecting it to be a metallic card either. I like the all Black & Silver look as well. It's a pretty card haha.
This is an amazing level of effort and content! Thanks for the great work Dave! One question please: are you taking these cards as a private individual or as a legal entity?
Sorry for that… it’s so complex and confusing. Most of these companies don’t make it easy to compare… I’d have to VPN to try to find websites for every country!
I'd love to see another video like this one updated to most recent cards. Every video about cards out there is sponsored shilling (frequently not even disclosed), and doesn't go straight to the points of interest of a card, comparing perks and methods of obtaining them. Also, i'm interested in cards that provide a bonus or cashback on actual fiat spending (since where i'm located financially, crypto to fiat is taxed as cashout even when using cards for purchases).
The infinite money glitch with CRO was something I was eyeing too before they adjusted the rates. It makes sense. I think enough stuff will pull back once they get the marketshare they desire. Great video!! Almost 100K subs!!
Hey Dave, great video as always! Just a note on Coinbase card. It has a spending limit of $2500/day so becoming hard to use on bigger purchases like a new Mac or for some flights. Also there are some spreads making conversion between those 4% token back to USD or BTC effectively lower than 4%. Great card otherwise.
Yeah, the conversion loss was my biggest drawback. I didn’t realize the daily limit was so low. I didn’t attempt any big purchases in my testing because I was earning more elsewhere 😉
I wish cro worked in NY, but I kind of wish those were credit cards instead of debit. I got the Gemini Card and I like that it's got a lot of crypto coins/token options.
Did you do any research at all on the Voyager card? 9-10.5% on your USDC as you wait to spend it. Then if you own the VGX Token and in the loyalty program you get 1-3% back on everything you spend. Not to mention the other benefits of the VLP. The biggest thing is 1-3% back on ACH payments. So yes 1-3% back on mortgage, student loans, car payments….or even paying off another credit card. Do some homework!
Yes, their Earn program is a great rate. You’re correct, USDC earns 9% until you spend it. The Earn program is great… the card itself, however, is not a “rewards” card. Promoting “9% Rewards” from a card is misleading because it implies you’d get 9% back on your spending. You get 0% back. You’re better off keeping your money at Voyager for the 9%, then topping up on another card when you’re ready to spend
@@HeythereDavehere you wrong. Just like CRO gives out money back for purchases for different tiers so does Voyager. You can get up to 3% on purchases, including using ACH to pay off your mortgage, car payment ETC and earning rewards back on that! Plus earning 9%-10.5% waiting to spend it!
I’m afraid Voltron is correct. The Voyager card does give “cash back” in the form of the VGX token. Depending on your tier in the loyalty program you can receive up to 3% cash back on all purchases including many forms of ACH transfers like mortgages and car payments. It really is a very decent program that (while currently in beta) is about to release en masse. Thanks Dave
Great video Dave! Is the M1 card a crypto card though? I thought all the cash back went into your portfolio which could only be composed of stocks or ETFs. They were supposed to add crypto but I don't think they've done that yet.
One you missed, Plutus $PLU - This card is currerntly in Europe & UK! They are looking to expand to Asia in the future. Now on rewards 2.0 - upto 8% back but base line 3% back on a free account.
Gemini card is actually pretty nice as you can get instant rewards in more obscure crypto that can appreciate, turning the lower % into higher with a bit of holding. And can switch which crypto anytime.
The issue with CDC is the 7 day funds hold. If you send FIAT to fund your debit card expect a 7 day hold before being able to spend. Mind you the fiat is withdrawn within 24hrs. CDC is floating your money. Also CDC new cronos chain is horrendous. Try transferring Cro anywhere. Sometimes it takes 24hrs. On the contrary Coinbase hold is between 3-6 days, this depends on the fiat amount.
I haven’t experienced the 7 day hold, but I wired funds in initially instead of ACH. You’re saying when you ACH money in and they give you “instant” access to buy crypto, right? I think Coinbase is the same. They give you access to trade but not spend/withdraw because the ACH system is slow and transactions can be reversed and if they let you withdraw funds before the ACH fully settled, you really MIGHT have an infinite money glitch!!!! hmmm 🤔
@@HeythereDavehere yes ach money in takes 7 days with CDC. Even though fiat was withdrawn within 24hrs out of your bank you still have to wait 7 days to withdraw out of CDC. I had one transaction take 24 days with CDC. Coinbase is about 3-6 days, most are 3 days. There is really no need for 7 day hold. If you ACH from bank to bank is less than 24 hrs. Clearing house is quick and the clearing house for CDC is in State of NY. In other words CDC is playing with your money for 6 days.
Great video! Thanks! Good to know I'm already in the best card for my portfolio level - Indigo Blue. I'm curious to know if any of these cards could enable "stacking" where you pay one off using another card and get cashback on that payment. Also - if anyone has any ideas on how to use these cards to pay things that aren't typically purchases - like my rent. :)
Can someone clarify something? When they say theres X% cashback they mean that we have to deposit USD, buy crypto and then when we buy something it sells the crypto to USD at the current price to pay to the merchant. Right? My question is: if I have to hold crypto my balance in USD will be fluctuating over the days when Im spending right? I will never know how much I really have and will get back...
The bad side is: people like to go for the option that returns more, while it is probably a Scam, higher returns => higher risks, I would prefer instead a simple 1% back card without needing to stake any shit coins and if possible backed by some reputable brand, but we know that even reputable brands could be Scams (FTX like).. sad BlockFI is also just dead.
Can u do a similar Video with non crypto cards? like also a list like this and the benefits and downsides of the cards. And i wouldn't mind if the Video is then over 1h long 😂
Voyager is 1-3% for spending and 9%-10.5% on USDC when you're not spending. 7% staking on VGX and up to 12% on assets on the platform. This will likely improve mid-year when VLP 2.0 comes out.
Wait, Voyager gives 1-3% back on card spending? I know they give you 1-3X crypto back on trades but I can’t find anything on their website that says they give you anything back from spending with the card.
@@HeythereDavehere Yes, 1-3% for spending depending on your membership tier and a 0.5% booster per tier on USDC while it sits waiting to be spent. 1-3X trading rewards for market orders (buys and sells) depending on tier. Oh and the debit card is a real bank account and the rewards apply to ACH bill pay too.
Could move that 1mil to anchor protocol (assuming you had it in stables) for 19.5% and just top up your CDC card with the interest to still do your inf money glitch. Anchor is on Terra which is Cosmos IBC like Cronos so wouldn't be too difficult to send UST over.
After the latest CRO updates and slashes, would be nice to get an update. I've returned to rewatch the video in order to find the no2, who I'm sure now is probably no1 on that list
For Crypto com card you forgot to mention you get interest on the staked card so it gives you interest on that staked for 6 months and then as long as you don't unstake it. Winning all around. EDIT: I guess you did mention it. Oh well, more algorithm action for you. Win win
I’m currently on CDC Ruby Steel but already want to upgrade to Indigo/Emerald. Instant rewards is so good, I often trade my CRO rewards for BTC, ETH etc
That's possible if you accumulate your CRO cashback and rewards. I've been enjoying my Ruby Steel card for about a year and was able to upgrade to Royal Indigo, Jade Green level, (upgraded and kept my Ruby Steel). Happy to read you're also enjoying the card.
I did the 4% Coinbase card thing last month and the rewards appreciated like 15% in total...I guess it will average out if you do it as your standard thing but I still think you will do better to just pick 4% and convert it at a specific amount...so maybe 100 dollars or something along those lines depending on how much you spend so you don't get less than 4%. So you end up getting 4% of ETH/BTC instead of 1%. As per the Voyager card, you did not mention it comes with a checking account that you can use to make ACH payments and earn rewards on those payments. It has been stated by the CEO that paying through the account will count as a swipe of the card, so you can generate the crypto back rewards by paying your credit cards.
I may have to try to get Voyager so I can pay my mortgage, that's the only bill I have that I can't pay by debit card and has to be by ACH. Thank you for that information!
I use the Coinbase card as my catch all card. I earn in XLM and earn between 5% APY and 9% APY. Basically, I earn 4% in XLM. I then send that XLM into my Lobstr wallet. While my XLM is in my Lobstr wallet i: 1. Convert XLM into yXLM (yXLM earns 5% in your Lobstr wallet) 2. Whenever I remember/ accumulated enough yXLM. I then convert it into yUSDC (yUSDC pays 9% APY) 3. Once I have enough yUSDC to feel uncomfortable I convert everything into USDC and send it to my brokerage Overall, I am making around 3% - 4.12% in aggregate through my conversions and transferring because XLM is inherently a very cheaper platform to use.
Reading about people grabbing multi-figures monthly as income in investments even in this crazy days in the market, any pointers on how to make substantial progress in earnings?would be appreciated…
I think a Good T/A like her will pay off more than random u-tube videos,a lot of UA-camrs don’t actually care if you loose money, they just want more views and traffic!,
I use the Coinbase card as my catch-all card (with my citi custom cash for one category a month for 5%). Apart from the transaction fee, which trades for a little less than the actual value of bitcoin or ethereum. Converting to cash also has a fee (8.99 for $200?), but percentage wise, I'm pretty confident I'm still getting 3.75%ish per dollar spent.
Very well put together and professional looking video, the amount of time devoted and effort put into this is definitely not unnoticed. Much appreciated
Excellent video, this was super informative! Honestly I think the Gemini card is probably the most competitive non-staking card especially if you do a lot of dining/grocery shopping given Gemini Active Trader's lower commission fee rates relative to coinbase pro and the variety of 40+ asset options for the reward payout. If you already watch the crypto markets you could strategically pick your desired asset in accordance with your pre-existing trade strategy and then later convert it to BTC, ETH, USDC, or whatever you use as your reserve, effectively compounding your growth.
Glad it was helpful. Be careful if you do a “lot” of dining, you’ll get capped out! I had that happen on my BofA cards. I like Gemini as a platform & the card is a nice compliment to it… just wasn't best for me. Tried to be objective and show pros & cons of each. Thanks for the comment!

Initially they ruled in favor of the merchant, but I had to point out to them that the merchant provided evidence that confirmed I was correct. They just didn't read the evidence... Investigation reopened and I won finally.
One clarification: Deserve is not a bank. Evolve Bank issues the card.
@@Loading3456 Yep, Evolve bank. I edited my first comment to fix that
@@wojackhorseman2921 You're good!
Thank you for putting this together. Hopefully Celsius' card will actually be good whenever that comes out!
Aged like warm milk in a looking summer. Lmao
Why do you use a crpyto card?
I think this video is due for an update. Coinbase, CDC, etc. have changed a bit. Plus other cards to cover too, like OnJuno.
Great Breakdown! Been wondering which of these I should get. Thanks!
Thank you for this. After CDC change to their card I had to find another option. Too bad they have made a lot of the video wrong but this helped.
Excellent Video Dave! I;ve been trying to get one of those cards. now I have pretty good idea which one to get. Thanks again!
Hi! This seems very interesting, could you tell what defi you use?
@@alfredomenezes8814 i assume cro-defi aswell since they do both. which is convenient because you can auto link it.
Which defi wallet let you earn 11%Cro?
Nice setup for passive income. I have the CDC Steel Ruby card upgraded to Royal Indigo, Jade Green level and also regularly feed my CDC Defi Wallet for higher returns, etc. In addition I also invest in the CDC Crypto Earn and Supercharger. Is this something you do or have considered?
Yeah which Defi wallet gives you 11%??
👏
Well said Mr. Met! 👊🏻
🙌
I have the blockfi and Gemini card,
Interested in the CRO card though, but I wish it was a credit card
@@darrellpatenaude3825 what card is this for? I have the jade green card, but I have not heard any news about a overdraft feature.
Great video. I ordered a coinbase card. They are not paying as much now as they did in the past. But I use coinbase so why not.
I have been using the Binance card as my main card for like a year by now. I think it's great. I was already holding BNB as well, which obviously just made it more of a no-brainer.
Just came across your videos the other day! And dude I’ve got to say, you have some of the most clear and understanding videos ever
I just got my Gemini creditcard in the mail a couple days ago. I wasn't expecting it to be a metallic card either. I like the all Black & Silver look as well. It's a pretty card haha.
Just got mine yesterday too and it definitely stand out against my other cards, I can't wait to use it in the wild
@@yungdammit4742 I got the Gemini card just to get eth for my usual shopping. Otherwise use Fidelity card for flat 2%.
Wow a great vid thankyou for sorting out these crypto cards
Great job
Wow nearly at 100k, you deserve it, amazing content!
This MIGHT be the video to push me over 💯
This is an amazing level of effort and content! Thanks for the great work Dave!
One question please: are you taking these cards as a private individual or as a legal entity?
Hey, great video. It would have been awesome if you could have told which card is supported in which all countries.
The Infinite money glitch?
Good Video, I have Gemini & Coinbase Cards and I'm quite happy with them.
I didn’t attempt any big purchases in my testing because I was earning more elsewhere 😉
is there any replacement for the jade green? they screwed it up big time...
I wish cro worked in NY, but I kind of wish those were credit cards instead of debit. I got the Gemini Card and I like that it's got a lot of crypto coins/token options.
@Jalis It's just easier. You don't have to keep a supply of money in there to use the card. Otherwise the debit card isn't horrible.
I talked to Nexo Support about the 2%. Its 0.5% if you decide in BTC, 2% if you decide in Nexo Tokens. Upvote this comment so ppl can see.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks Dave
@@paxrek how’s that 19% now?
The Fold Debit card is very unique. Gamefied Bitcoin rewards and is easy to average over 5% back.
Perhaps it's time to remake this video.
Gemini card is actually pretty nice as you can get instant rewards in more obscure crypto that can appreciate, turning the lower % into higher with a bit of holding. And can switch which crypto anytime.
Agree. I like Gemini, but the % earned is just too low for me personally
Hey Dave, thanks for another great informative video 🙏🏻
Hey Dave, Great work! wondering if you would consider making this same video but for non-crypto cards
This one was a beating… but yes, maybe. I can’t get EVERY card, but I can review the ones I have and maybe add a few I’ve been considering.
@@HeythereDavehere Great idea! Just subbed awesome content.
The bad side is: people like to go for the option that returns more, while it is probably a Scam, higher returns => higher risks, I would prefer instead a simple 1% back card without needing to stake any shit coins and if possible backed by some reputable brand, but we know that even reputable brands could be Scams (FTX like).. sad
BlockFI is also just dead.
Can u do a similar Video with non crypto cards? like also a list like this and the benefits and downsides of the cards. And i wouldn't mind if the Video is then over 1h long 😂
Great video haven’t seen anybody do a video like this and most people aren’t into crypto cards. Amazing job
Voyager is 1-3% for spending and 9%-10.5% on USDC when you're not spending. 7% staking on VGX and up to 12% on assets on the platform. This will likely improve mid-year when VLP 2.0 comes out.
Yep! This is 💯 accurate. Voyager Debit blows these others away!!
@@ryansgr8 yep! We need a follow up video from Dave! Maybe he can have you on his channel!? 👀
@@HeythereDavehere Perhaps take another look at Voyager? It really is one of the better companies in the space.
Could move that 1mil to anchor protocol (assuming you had it in stables) for 19.5% and just top up your CDC card with the interest to still do your inf money glitch. Anchor is on Terra which is Cosmos IBC like Cronos so wouldn't be too difficult to send UST over.
Terra is dead
Got the rose gold too, staked in September. Withdrew and restaked last month so basically a free card now
After the latest CRO updates and slashes, would be nice to get an update. I've returned to rewatch the video in order to find the no2, who I'm sure now is probably no1 on that list
Same here🤣 cdc smh
I'm here early today to take notes 📝
Welcome Jose! First comment 🥇
Hey, Excellent video Dave. Very informative.
Dave doing God’s work
You're here!! Welcome!
I love the M1 Owners rewards card
I need this guy to manage my finances lmao... next best thing, I guess I'll keep watching the videos to keep learning!
So, you are now 40% under water right? I think I will just keep using cash LOL
For Crypto com card you forgot to mention you get interest on the staked card so it gives you interest on that staked for 6 months and then as long as you don't unstake it. Winning all around.
EDIT: I guess you did mention it. Oh well, more algorithm action for you. Win win
Actually, you should do this again! Now there's a Fidelity card, and I think that a lot of the perks for crypto got worse.
Thanks for great video, Dave! Which should a 1st timer in crypto consider using ?
FTX💀
Here's a comment for the algorithms for such a great job that you did. Thanks for putting this all together!
Seems like a reasonable plan! Thanks for the comment Hector
Great video. Wild stuff. I use the Coinbase card. Love it. Even kept my old legacy one for fun.
Great video regarding crypto cards. I believe this is the first review about the cards. You are a financial hero and continue the terrific work!
I appreciate it Steven!
there are no fees to convert crypto on Coinbase.
I use the Coinbase card as my catch all card. I earn in XLM and earn between 5% APY and 9% APY. Basically, I earn 4% in XLM. I then send that XLM into my Lobstr wallet. While my XLM is in my Lobstr wallet i:
1. Convert XLM into yXLM (yXLM earns 5% in your Lobstr wallet)
2. Whenever I remember/ accumulated enough yXLM. I then convert it into yUSDC (yUSDC pays 9% APY)
3. Once I have enough yUSDC to feel uncomfortable I convert everything into USDC and send it to my brokerage
Overall, I am making around 3% - 4.12% in aggregate through my conversions and transferring because XLM is inherently a very cheaper platform to use.

That conversion fee is crazy! Hopefully you’re able to maintain that 3.75%
XLM -> ETH conversion for the coinbase debit card is roughly 3.76% accounting for the spread
The Binance card will no longer be useable in the EU from december 20, 2023
Very well put together and professional looking video, the amount of time devoted and effort put into this is definitely not unnoticed. Much appreciated
Why do you use a crpyto card?
@@aayushmittal2831 Why do you ask people who never said anything about using a crypto card why they use a crypto card?
- Technically, the M1 Owners Rewards card has nothing to do with crypto.
- There is an official list of MCC restrictions on CRO back
Excellent video, this was super informative!
