Hi Kevin, I have been watching all your Grade 10 & now Grade 11 Trig playlist videos but none introduced me to the Step 4 Quadrant method you using in this video. Can you link me to the intro video to this method?
There is a way to do it with the negative. Maybe 5% of schools do it like this. I you use that method, you have to do something a little different but you do get same answer at end. I would only recommend you use the negative if your teacher does it this way as otherwise you would not know the technique to follow.
Use the cast diagram and see where your trig ratio is positive..for example with sin,it is positive in quadrant 1 &2.With cos,it is positive in quadrants 1 & 4..just like that.
Eyyyy where'd those quadrant tables comes from now? You haven't even introduced them yet now we're just supposed to use em like they've been around the whole time?? Edit: what're they even called? Then we can at least go google them.
Hello, those quadrant tables are only being introduced for the first time now in this video. The CAST part was introduced in previous lessons. The table is not really a table. It is just me dividing the page in half and saying which quadrant we are in.

You are most welcome :)
I understand everything here but when it comes to the exams everything is twisted😢💔
Im literally writing in 30 mins😅

That's so real 😭
How do you know if you have to add or subtract?
Thank you sir for all your help once again
Sir are we not supposed to use 180 in the third quadrant instead of 360?
Paper 2 2moro 😅😅
We love you Kevin 💖
For the k value can you use fractions like 1/2 and so on thank you.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!

Give this man a beer.🤘
Cant we reduce sin(x-20)....what do you mean its fully simplified?
thank you so much sir ❤
thanks kevin
How do you get the values of X at the end of specific solution
why do we use K360
When you include the negative in the calculator do you still get similar final solutions?

@@kevinmathscience okay rhank you sir
Isn’t quadrant one 360 + θ ?
You could think of it like that we normally just leave it as the way I showed in video.
@@mitchellgongolo3844 by adding 360, you're basically doing nothing, since 0° and 360° are the exact same
its sine
Haha :)
Good day sir. Why didn't you divide the k for equation 3) by 2?
Greetings Sir Kevin, My questions is that you added 2 as K but it say (-360;360) I'm really confused sir please explain for me
I don't understand in conclusion I'll going to write tomorrow and hope God is with me 😢
Great content👏
I'm doing this before the exam fr😂😂😂
Is it not mandatory to say p.a.a. when finding the reference angle?
How do we choose which quadrant to use

Where did you get the -336.42?
Practicing for a test I have in a week😁
Nice!!! :) All the best with that and keep putting in the hours every day!
