Great video - I actually went to a screening at manhattan lasik center and they offered me smile or lasik said I can do either $3600 for lasik or $5000 usd for smile - I’m unsure what to do Bec I see lasik as a safe procedure in use for many years but smile just got us fda approval in 2017 and I see mixed results online some people don’t like it others do? What do you suggest

What is the biggest diopter it can correct? I personally have less than -1, with slight astigmatism, would that be in a range this technology offers?

Less than -1 diopters is usually treated with PRK or LASIK. SMILE is usually used for larger errors, typically -1.5D or more. SMILE can treat up to -10 diopters, and can also treat astigmatism.

Can smile treat myopia with-10 and above?
SMILE can treat up to -10.0 dioptres of myopia, depending on the thickness of the cornea and other measurements made at the time of the consultation.

SMILE.can treat up to -10.0 dioptres of myopia, so you may not be suitable. There are alternative treatments which you may be suitable for.
