Ach mate! We never had Kinder surprise when I was a kid! Maybe if you're a child of the 70's and grew up in the 80's? My first "proper" kit was a tank, made by FROG - remember them? I bet you don't cos yer a wee dapper! ;)
These are obviously not 'proper' kits but are still fun to build when doing a longer build. I got a few when Aldi and Lidl were doing them cheap. My only issue with some of them are the colours they come in. However, you can paint them and using lacquer paints you can get a very good finish. It would be nice if you had a choice of stickers or decals. The Aventador being white is ideal for painting. The Mustang does look really nice though.
Great Kits well designed. Unfortunately now manufactured in India, plastic finish is horrible, could paint them but that defeats the object, doesn't it?
Your fingers are to big for the stickers. A 6 year old will get them in there no problem. lol. Also I don't like to debunk your theory but I never bought Kinder Surprise as a kid, I couldn't go pass spending my pocket money on the collector card sets that you got with a piece of bubble gum. Rugby league, cricket, AFL collected then all growing up in Australia. Can only remeber only buying 1 kinder surprise and that was The Simpsons special edition with already made figuires inside. lol Great vid mate.
These quick builds are OK for youngsters. But I am not really a fan of them. I also think some of them are better than others. We just bought a motor home, so my wife bought me the Airfix quick build VW Camper van for a laugh. I tried to build it, but a lot of the parts just kept coming apart. In the end I had to glue most of the parts together, to stop it falling apart. Plus the VW Camper Van, was a bit simple, with not much detail inside. Just a couple of bench seats and a steering wheel. Which was a shame, because it does have lots of clear windows.
I've build 2 campers and they came out good.. They are the staple to my secret santa.. bought them for my friends, especially the sports cars as they wont be able to afford a real one lol
Re Kinder Surprise. No us old s*ds may remember these things being given away in a breakfast cereal circa late 50'. Think it may have been Sugar Puffs but may be wrong. Think car / tank / ship or plane. Also in a cereal box a small submarine which had a compartment for I think baking soda which caused the sub to sink and then surface magic to a young kid. Love the vids keep them coming.
One of my favourite automobiles of all time...think Steve McQueen in "Bullitt"..😀🎸🖖✈ Cheers and Thanks!
Classic.. truly :)
If Airfix make more classic car subjects they are on to a winner. Austin Healeys, Triumphs, Alfa Romeos etc.
Be good if they did
This would make for great gift for my nephew, maybe a year from now.
ive given quite a few of the super cars away to friends..

Haha.. Yeah maybe the older generation would have missed the kinda eggs..
My kids loved them but not so much for the models but the chocolate, dark outside and white inside was unusual for the time.
Impressive my friend there are a few 68 mustangs going around down under but in all seriousness was that kinder add worth it?
Yeah it was.. KInder surprise was massive
I noticed no flying hours for this quick build unlike the other kits previously
The last 5 releases didnt have them either.. check out my videos as you see a gap where they should have been lol
It's not for me sorry.👍
fair enough matey
