You're right, it's something dark in her. She can be cute, funny and cheerful but she isn't really joyful. In her eyes is something like a kind of shadow... She's hurt, she was bullied in the elementary school, she was struggling with her mother being addicted to coccaine, she didn't accept herself. She even told some interviewer that for most of her days she felt empty and wretched. She's got undeniable magnetism in herself but even though she's famous, rich and multitalented, I feel a great sympathy for her. She experienced things that can destroy a person and I hope someday she'll find a right way in her life so that shadow will disappear.

I get that and I have said I do not agree with what they did.......however my counter argument is they're new.... they'll get used to it, you learn as you grow I am studying Journalism in college and I'm in my 4th year and we have been told time and time again celebrities are sitting in a room all day, they start very early in the morning and do this until very late in the day answering the same questions over and over again. They then wake up and repeat the same thing again and again for weeks. We as Journalists and Interviewers should make the interviewees open up to us by asking obscure questions and making them think oh, something I haven't been asked before that's different... because then they're not repeating themselves because that gets boring as hell As I've said and sorry for the long answer......but as I have said, celebrities open up to you more when you ask questions they're not normally asked and you gain their respect and trust by asking those questions....nice things by the way....not heavy things like Cara's depression or anything, just something nice... At least they've answered the questions and didn't do a Robert De Niro or RDJ where they stormed out....but of course they don't get shit for whatever reason

I don't understand why everyone is saying Cara was being rude? Nat and Cara were just having fun, why is everyone here taking them as being narcissistic and rude?
If you go to see this movie am just saying if you are a big John Green fan and you have seen the two movies you have be emotionally ready for the gas station part am telling you are probably gonna get really excited.
When I was watching it about a half year ago, I didn't find Cara offensive to the interviever. Of course, I thought she was spoiled but she was known for her weirdness so I sort of expected that kind of behaviour. I don't know why you people are so... surprised.

i honestly dont think she is being rude here..... she just isnt crazy upbeat or full on giddy which is such a unrealistic and stupid thing to expect from celebrities.... they are human like all of us and im sure non of you are overjoyed and upbeat 24/7... that would be fake.

OMG, what's up with Cara's attitude? I mean, we know she gets asked about this movie like almost every week with some new reporter, but that was certainly not the way to behave with Miriam Isa, they both showed an disrespectful attitude to her; while she just tried to be nice and do her work.

I'm a big Cara fan and even I can say she was being rude here........however, think about the fact Nat and Cara had to answer the same questions over and over again all day- I know it's no excuse but if you had to repeat yourself constantly throughout the day you'd get annoyed too and roll your eyes at questions- no I'm not condoning what Cara did- you have to remember she's new to this she'll get better at hiding all these 'Oh god not this question again' face.....
What I don't agree with however is how you're all calling her a self righteous arrogant bitch based on a few interviews like stop....she's not. I know this makes her look immature and childish but she was probably trying to keep herself entertained....I know it doesn't condone what she did in the interview but please give her a break

I get that and I have said I do not agree with what they did.......however my counter argument is they're new.... they'll get used to it, you learn as you grow
I am studying Journalism in college and I'm in my 4th year and we have been told time and time again celebrities are sitting in a room all day, they start very early in the morning and do this until very late in the day answering the same questions over and over again. They then wake up and repeat the same thing again and again for weeks.
We as Journalists and Interviewers should make the interviewees open up to us by asking obscure questions and making them think oh, something I haven't been asked before that's different... because then they're not repeating themselves because that gets boring as hell
As I've said and sorry for the long answer......but as I have said, celebrities open up to you more when you ask questions they're not normally asked and you gain their respect and trust by asking those questions....nice things by the way....not heavy things like Cara's depression or anything, just something nice...
At least they've answered the questions and didn't do a Robert De Niro or RDJ where they stormed out....but of course they don't get shit for whatever reason

Probably the reason why Cara has an attitude is bc she's tired. They look like they've been doing press junkets all day. How would you feel if you had to sit in one chair for 3-5 hours and answer the same questions over and over again by different journalists. And just bc she has an attitude in this interview doesn't represent her character as a person.
