6 days PP, watched so many of your videos to prepare for labor & delivery, I was able to have my daughter naturally with no epidural. I was so amazed and proud of myself! Thank you for all your videos, they are so helpful 😊
I watched almost all of your videos during my pregnancy and was able to have my baby girl naturally, no epidural, and no tears as a first-time mom! ❤My contractions lasted for a day but just felt like strong period cramps, so I didn't go to the hospital. Shortly before midnight, they got more intense, so we drove to the hospital, and when we arrived, I was already at 10cm! I only pushed for 30 min. and baby girl was born perfect at 1:15am 🥰 Thanks for all your positive encouragement and tips! 😘
Five days postpartum. Watched most of your videos. Had a successful VBAC without epidural. I had my baby girl within one hour.. Thank you so much. God bless❤
Expecting our baby in eight weeks, so I'm watching to prepare myself to support my wife post delivery. Thank you so much. This was a really helpful video❤
Melaninated woman please understand this list is not for us ! As alot of things she listed in this videos . ALOT of what we think are “ healthy “ diets were not made for black / brown people .. we have to understand this and do through research before consuming the diet of someone with a completely different genetic makeup then us .. Wheat is a # 1 melanin killer . Broccoli is a HYBRID ( another melanin killer ) BEANS are hot for US .. others may be able to consume them but they were not made for melaninated beings i recommend you all follow my doula @KrystalAlkaline on fb and here on UA-cam . 4th child birthed at home 🏡 all natural and I am so tired 🥱 This post partum is very hard on me and this was a hard birth as well. Thanks for all the info we are so grateful 🥲
I think the best thing to do, even before pregnancy, is to learn how to eat intuitively with gentle nutrition. Learning how to listen to my body while eating to satisfaction AND health is invaluable. not only does it make pregnancy and postpartum just slightly easier, but it's knowledge I can pass down to my children so they can be health and happy too.
This takes my back. My baby is 18 months now but because of you I had my first vaginal, natural, home birth. Back labor and all. I recommend to all women wanting a beautiful natural birth.
Currently one week pp. The breathing techniques really helped me through my labour. I had an epidural shortly before birthing my baby and continued with my breathing and side lying position. I pushed him out in less than 8 minutes with minimal tearing. Thank you for your advice !
I want to say a huge thanks to you Bridget, just few days ago i gave birth . after 36 hours. of pain it was natural birth ,i followed all d exercise and birth ball and also during contractions breathing exercises was very helpful. Here in Europe during corona situation i cant go for child birth classes, but your videos are really very helpful. want to say huge thanks from d bottom of my heart.
3 weeks PP with baby number 2 (had all natural and am so proud of myself), but still 24 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I started walking just a slow 1.5 mile walk this week and trying to stay hydrated for breastfeeding. I do take a beef liver supplement for iron as I have a hard time eating a lot of meat, and trying to eat healthier snacks too. Both kids are 100% vaccine free 💪
I just had my second baby yesterday. I want to thank you for all your videos. You definitely helped me go through a natural labor with no epidural. I felt you there comforting me through the whole process. Thank You 😊
Love, that you started with bone broth and added fatty fish like salmon. But what about raw grass-fed butter/tallow/lard? Raw grass-fed milk & cream? Organ meats from pastured animals, cod liver, eggs from pastured chicken, ducks etc.??? I suggest reading: "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" by Weston A. I would LOVE if you would share some favorite recipes with some of these thing in them - that would be so incredibly helpful! Is there a difference between “bone broth” and like chicken stock? I make my own stock at home when I can, using bones from a whole chicken and leftover veggie scraps. Does that count as bone broth?
If you're looking for ideas for how to work this in effeciently, I have one! For lunch, I usually have a sandwhich with ezekiel bread (whole grain/high fiber), avocado (healthy fats), kale or agula or spinach (anti-inflamation/high fiber), turkey, cheese, and tomato.

Would you recommend having vegetable/fruit smoothies? And do you have any recipes if so 😊 Thank you for all your videos they have helped me from being anxious and unsure about my upcoming birth to confident and relaxed😍
I read that citrusy foods can cause gas for the baby when breastfeeding. And was told to avoid gassy foods like beans because of the cesarean. So, I'm a bit confuse
Does is matter what kind of bone broth? Beef or chicken? Sorry I'm literally going to have my first baby in a couple of weeks so just getting my ducks in a row.
there is an herbal tea that can help tremendously fine to recover from postpartum trauma "postpartum recovery tea" by secretsoftea.com. this tea is an organic blend of herbs that are known for their medicinal properties to heal scars, tumefaction, and swellings.
So glad I’ve found your videos! They have been helpful. We are having our first baby in early August ☺️ Will you be doing more videos for partners? I would love a video for the husband to watch and help him understand the process and things that can he can help with pre and post pregnancy. ☺️
I love your videos. They really helped me during pregnancy. What irritates me is that you talk about eating lentil, beans and oranges... I recall want to eat them, but when I do, my baby who I breastfeed, looks like she is going to explode.... And the acid from citrus fruit give her a red butt.... I feel really washed out sometimes, especially because I can't eat beans, chickpeas etc... Does anybody know how I could help my baby be less gassy if I eat these foods?
I am having my 4th c section. For my last 2 births I have made Thermos full of bone broth for the 2 days in hospital. It also helps with having the first BM! Thanks for the tips!!
www.impactkitchen.ca/2018/01/02/recipe-vegan-superfood-broth/ I just found this for you! I was curious myself. You can add things like dandelion greens or nettles for iron and vitamin C. Ginger never hurt anyone either! And I am always a fan of a nice bit of fresh squeezed lemon to serve :)
My favorite recipes come from Bon Appetite. Their Master Stock by Brad Leone, along their beef stock, or chicken stock are all awesome. You can start with recipes like those and do some riffs of your own things. The important thing is letting it reduce for several hours to get the nutrients out of the bones. Usually you can take a small sample and put it in your fridge, and if in several hours it has a gelatinous quality, you know you've got a hearty stock with lots of nutrients. It takes time, but it's so worth it! Bone broth is a staple in our house even before I found out I was pregnant with our first this summer! Enjoy!
Bone Broth
High collagen producing foods: Kale, Broccoli
High Fiber foods: beans, lentils, veggies
Vitamin C rich foods: citrus fruits, berries, spinach, dark leafy greens
Good healthy fats: salmon, mackerel, walnuts, almonds, avocado

And for vegan any tips? I can’t have bone broth. Thanks 🙏
there is an herbal tea that can help tremendously fine to recover from postpartum trauma "postpartum recovery tea" by secretsoftea.com. this tea is an organic blend of herbs that are known for their medicinal properties to heal scars, tumefaction, and swellings.
sandra green thank you but I live in NZ and the shipping it’s very expensive 😢
@@vlma1984 I checked it from the site, it needs $16 to deliver it to New Zealand. anyways good luck
Yes, as a fellow vegan I also don't want to consume any animal products. Look for good tips at the youtube of Ellen Fisher.
So glad I’ve found your videos! They have been helpful. We are having our first baby in early August ☺️ Will you be doing more videos for partners? I would love a video for the husband to watch and help him understand the process and things that can he can help with pre and post pregnancy. ☺️
So good to know! I'd love to make more videos on this topic! I'll do my best to get those to you soon!
Bridget Teyler Awesome!! 🙂
3:40 for the 1st answer
what to use instead bone broth as vegetarian
I love your videos. They really helped me during pregnancy.
What irritates me is that you talk about eating lentil, beans and oranges... I recall want to eat them, but when I do, my baby who I breastfeed, looks like she is going to explode.... And the acid from citrus fruit give her a red butt.... I feel really washed out sometimes, especially because I can't eat beans, chickpeas etc...
Does anybody know how I could help my baby be less gassy if I eat these foods?
Very helpful tips! Just one question, can I have cold drinks too? Or does it affect me or baby during postpartum?😬 thanks in advance!
I know this is an old video and your likely not responding to comments... but any advice for a breastfeeding mama who's got a horrible appetite
I’m having Postpartum I can’t eat or sleep I be scared to go out in the store ☹️😔
I am having my 4th c section. For my last 2 births I have made Thermos full of bone broth for the 2 days in hospital. It also helps with having the first BM! Thanks for the tips!!
How has recovery been for you?
@@Muslimah393 It was hard but manageble!! I found balancing minerals helped alot

I’m breastfeeding and my baby has lost weight instead of gaining 😏what can I eat to make her gain weight?
Hi Bridget is it true that whatever mom eats while breastfeeding, it will also affect baby?
Thanks to your videos, I was able to use all the knowledge I got from you and gave birth normally. ♥️

I am a vegetarian, is there something that I can eat in place of the bone broth?

I just found this for you! I was curious myself. You can add things like dandelion greens or nettles for iron and vitamin C. Ginger never hurt anyone either! And I am always a fan of a nice bit of fresh squeezed lemon to serve :)
Should you take the milkies supplements right after birth or wait till my period comes to help boost supply?
Love this video! Thank you for uploading!
Love that you love it! Hope it helps!
@@BridgetTeyler am I crazy or can I not find part 2 in this series?
Do you have a favorite recipe for bone broth? I'd love to pre make some and have it handy!
Enjoy!
