Clear counters, drop zone and "donate-able" bag, that means I always have a bag that will be donated with items I gather when cleaning and declutering. I keep it in my closet and when it's full I donate it. No need to transfer things from box or basket to a bag, it's ready to go out of the house any time. Thank you for inspiration. Greetings from Poland

Ohh that’s a great idea because it eliminates extra effort that might just become an excuse or reason to procrastinate. I love it!

Unpopular opinion: minimalism has nothing to do with colors.
I have tomato reds and true blues and green and literally a bright yellow banana cushion, yet I always get told my house looks spacious and modern

Yes!! High five to that. 🖐
Most of what I see when I search "minimalism" seems to be the opposite, but I agree. It's not really about color or style at all. It has more to do with intentionality. Your space sounds super cozy.

If I didn't have a roommate , I would be implementing the kitchen decluttering techniques. Few more months and I'll have my own space that I can organize how I see fit :)

Hi ma. You are a great person. You are very inspiring. The world needs more people like you. I don't know if you can help me financially by investing in me. I'm currently studying in a medical school where i have failed a lot to the extent where I'm about to be kicked out of school. I feel like I'm a financial burden on my family and I'm afraid they might stop supporting me financially if I get kicked out. I believe that if you can help me, I can help another person in need tomorrow. I used to be an A student and never imagined I could be in this situation.
But even if you don't help me, I still appreciate your positive impact on people like us. Thanks a lot in advance as I await your reply.

      I’m sorry for your situation,
I’m probably not the best person to ask. I paid for my own college and don’t plan on paying for my kid’s college.
My father didn’t make it to middle school but is now financially independent in his 50s. He did it with hard work and discipline. Day after day, giving it his all, even when he was ill, never taking a sick day.
He didn’t give me a paid college career and never paid my bills, but he gave me something better: the value of working hard.
When life doesn’t go the way we planned, there’s a lesson to be learned, and sometimes it means we need to change direction.
      Best wishes to you.

@@YesiIbarra Thanks so much for the inspiration. That's really inspiring. How can I have mentors in any field? For example a mentor in UA-cam.
I always think I need mentors because I can't just do it on my own and make avoidable mistakes.

Word signs don't inspire me except maybe to cringe.

I always think I need mentors because I can't just do it on my own and make avoidable mistakes. I also want to be financially independent but don't know how.

I don’t know anyone who does UA-cam. Sure, it would be nice to have a mentor, but I’m not waiting around for one to take action. I just have watched lots of tutorials and learn by trial and error. My mentors come from books and tons of videos here on UA-cam.
Mistakes are part of the learning process. If we don’t make them, then we aren’t growing.
I learn something new in every video I make, and I am certainly a VERY flawed individual.
But that’s ok. I’m trying. That’s all that matters.
Don’t let fear of failure stop you.
