Full coverage of the men's single sculls rowing quarter-finals from Eton Dorney as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Rowing has been staged at all the editions of the Olympic Games, except in 1896 in Athens. It was, however, on the programme, but a stormy sea compelled the organisers to cancel the events.
Women made their debut at the Games in 1976 in Montreal. They competed in a smaller programme. The Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta marked the introduction of the lightweight events.

So nice I'm 2022see😂😂😂
This is actually a good question. From the point of view of physics, it's incorrect to talk about a rate per minute, which would acceleration. The proper way to say it: What is the rate? The rate is 34 strokes per minute.

Cool, thanks for the clarification.
If i remember correctly didnt the center lane offer an unfair advantage during these olympics? Something with the current?
it's a man made lake, no current. The wind gave the center lanes were at a disadvantage
curious. what is the stroke rate per min?
The Chilean is rushing the slide at the start and hes not engaging his core on the drive. Thats 2 major rowing faults!!
hixie57 yeah but he’s at the olympics and you’re typing pointless technical critiques in your bedroom.
