Full Throttle (1995) PC Complete Playthrough - NintendoComplete

- A beginning to end playthrough of LucasArts' 1995 graphic adventure opus, Full Throttle.
This game blew my mind when I first got it back in 1995. It combined the awesomeness of all of LucasArts' previous adventures (Sam n Max, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island...) and amped it up by several orders of magnitude. It's a fair amount shorter and easier than the company's earlier games, but it's drowning in personality, badassness, and general quality in every respect. If you ever had a passing interest in the "experience" of a graphic adventure, look no further. Full Throttle has everything in spades.
I hope you enjoy it - I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this again for the umpteenth time.

I was 12 ,today i am 37,thanks for the memories. Best game ever
I'm 45, fucked my first girl after showing her this. 🤣
Back then on my Compaq Presario 486 sx-33. 😂
I was 6 and did not understand english at the time. I never got past the junkyard door at 28:24 and it haunted me for more than 20 years. Also I never knocked the other biker out in the highway fist fight. Until this day I did not even know the title to research for playthrough. My 6-year-old self would thank you to finally be able to continue with the game.
2:08 - 2:30 Pure goosebumps. The way the camera pans up behind Ben's bike, and then to the front, with the main title. For the time, this was absolute perfection for an intro, and I think it still holds up! Man this game was awesome.
I was a kid and I only had the demo . I replayed so much . Finally watching as an adult .
Same here.
Same.
An absolute CLASSIC!!! I miss the 90s
My dad and I spent hours playing this game.
I had no idea this game existed until today, I looked up best pc games on 1995, I watched the first 15 mins of gameplay and I was hooked. I wish I knew about this when I was a kid.
Still one of the best games of all time. Thank you for playing.
I had thought NOTHING could POSSIBLY top NES games...until FULL THROTTLE ( and TWISTED METAL 2) turned me around. Unbelievably well-rounded movie/live finger-action/ puzzle solving/ rock n' roll serenade all rolled into 1 AWESOME game.
i still dream of the day they make a movie out of this game's story
And they will screw it up like 100%of game movies.
Gustavo Brandalise Javier Bardem can be the lead character riding a motorbike lol ....
How does this comment only have 33 likes?
It happened on a TV show called Reboot. Your dreams are fullfilled.
Can’t see anyone else other than Bruce Campbell as Ben. Wouldn’t surprise me if they based Ben on Ash from Evil Dead.
I love the song at the begging by the Gone Jackals. I played this game with my dad over and over as a kid. NOSTALGIC AF BABY!
One of the best games ever! Thanks for the upload!
I remember playing this game and finishing it to the end with great fun and satisfaction. Thanks for posting the videos of old games. Great nostalgia!
The cavefish were my favorite element in the motorcycle gang aspect of the game. Still very mysterious. Thanks for the upload. Great memories.
I miss the 90's. I was 7 when this came out. CLASSIC!
I remember playing this game on my father's computer about ten years ago, I only remembered the scene with the biker pulling the barman's nose ring and slamming his face on the table, Now finally, after so long I'm seeing him again. Good times
Sweet jesus! My 11-year-old self saved up every bit of money I could find to be able to buy this when it came out! I spent many an hour playing it, and getting stuck by bugs in the canyon section! I even bought the Gone Jackals' album! Thanks for the memories!
i bought it too :)
+Damian Harouff I think I've still got this game in my storage. :)
The art work is legendary
Found the conplete big box set at a yard sale a few months ago. So many memories. Thst and red alert
Hello from Russia, red alert used to be very popular here, i went to pc clubs in the early 2000s and we played it for hours. 1 hour was 10 rubles😊
1:04:30
"You like choppers huh?
Well how about this cho-
AUUGH! MY EYES!!!"
Gets me, every time.
"Sir, that's horrible. I'm not WAITING for you to die!"
That line gets me every time.
"Now it's just me and the bunnies". That line cracks me up everytime XD
im ready to crack you up violeta amor
Ah, 15 years later and I finally get to see how it ends.
remembering playing this game when i was 7 years old with my father :) i dont think id want a remake, i dunno why but i think it would ruin that beautiful memory of my sweet childhood.
I know your comment was written 2 years ago, but I had to say something-- I know exactly what you mean.. I was 7 years old in 1995 as well, but I played with my cousin not my dad. But definitely brings me back to a very sweet time too
Played this game with my dad too.seemed like the best game ever then.i keep thinking we didn’t get as far but then lol of a sudden I remeber what todo next.lol
Me too, now I'm 27 and have a Harley lol
Rose M they didn’t change anything gameplay wise. Just the look.
me too! me and my sisters took turns
OMFG your my hero for doing a playthrough of this, this game was my childhood man, i want to play it again, but dosbox is a pain in the ass :P
Have you tried ScummVM? It's quite a bit easier to set up if you aren't comfortable with Dos.
never heard of it :P i assume it does essentially the same thing?
S3PT1M1 Yeah, it plays the games just like they would've played in Dos, and you can setup filters for the graphics and whatnot. It also tends to support other non-PC versions of the games if you have the files on hand. Pretty easy to set up and get going, much more than any type of VM or full system emulation.
sweet, il definitely look it up then. doesn't come up often but every now and then i feel like playing an excessively old game cuz someone said it was good, and dosbox is a bit of a pain to set up, so this potentially opens the door for some classics :)
S3PT1M1 Definitely. It plays just about all of the Sierra games as well.
30 years later and it still blows my mind :) .
I had a deep memory of being around 3-4 years old and my uncle playing this game while i watched.
I thought this was a false memory all this time until i stumbled upon this being real..... Crazy haha
I had this when I was in my late teens, and it's hard to believe it has been almost 20 years ago...wow
Funny how he just casually walks towards the ladder in the final battle scene when they're about to plunge down the cliff.
Aah..this game reminds of my Pentium I computer and those DOS commands..This game was just awesome!! the awesomeness is still there!!!
Loved this game as a kid! Was too hard for me so watched my mate play it 😂
blast from the past..
This was one of the first games I played on my then-new 486 DX2 50 MHz with 4 MB RAM and S3 graphics with 1 MB VRAM. The sound was so good on my Sound Blaster 16 - the best until Audigy arrived anyways. I felt it was litterally like playing a movie. It was just so good!
Didn't remember, the name of this gama, and hadn't been able to find it. LucasArts came to my mind this week, and bang, here I am. watch it all. thumbs up for bring us back.
As of May 8, 2019, there are ten dislikes.
Must be from minivan owners...
@@binouche2281 What's the difference that matters if you play it with a virtual machine or through emulation? The game plays fine using ScummVM.
@@Watcher3223 Just the pause and save menu.
@@binouche2281 That's nitpicking, IMO.
@@Watcher3223 Indeed it is, so here's more: The playthrough was just badly done. He saves and loads multiple times, one time actually showing it on screen(Which is especially annoying with how you see him die and restart after), the others performing extremely obvious cuts at inconvenient places. I think the likes are due to the game and not the playthrough.
@@binouche2281 _"The playthrough was just badly done"_
Now you bring up good points, though your criticism is about his skill at playing the game, which would have been the case either with ScummVM or DosBox, so why would it matter what he used to play it?
I still have this on PC. Love it, another great game by the same studio LucasArts is called "The dig" great game
I was 7 when this game game out.
I actually vividly remember playing it, it was such a fun game.
I dont think there's much else that has more character than this game. 90s rule. Take me back
Easter Egg: @44:53 if you bug Emmitt enough, he will let you try finger-knife solitaire. It switches to a first-person view of Ben's hand, palm down on the table, and mouse clicks bring the knife down wherever the pointer is.
Oh, full throttle one of my childhood memories!
41:40 help me Ben you are my only hope (star wars reference).
It still blows my mind that Mark Hamil voiced Ripburger.... Doesnt seem like Luke Skywalker haha
Ha-ha I know right? I hardly believed it when I first saw that. He also played the detective in Gabriel Knight. And Blair in Wing Commander :)
+Potater I remember back there, Lucasarts has luanched another game, starwars game, also using dos, played a little, but the thing is, was the same years, bet was from that starwars project they pick the guy for the job, he was sticking around anyway, and also back there, Luke skywalker wasnt't him, he was just Luke...
And the character of Malcolm Corley was voiced by the late Hamilton Camp, best known for providing the voice of Dracula in Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf, while the game's title character was voiced by the late Roy Conrad.
Form on my wing............Negative........Fuck off Maniac
Roy Conrad was Merrick in Star Wars: RA II.
Back when games didn't do the thinking for you
"You understand me! MINIVANS!"
this still my favourite game.
OMG just watching the intro again and just... ¡Best Game Ever!
BTW, did anyone try to smoke a cigar while riding a motorcycle?
Will there ever be such a great decade , I wonder? 😢
wow, i remember playing this when i was in high School..lol.. i feel old..LOL
I think I was early elementary school. Watching this footage brings back memories I haven't thought since i was little.
Can't believe I missed the knife minigame.
I was child and remember that episode with gasoline sucking and dog later
very atmospheric
This game used to bring my 486 DX, 8mb, Quad cd-rom PC to its KNEES when I tried playing it, crashing constantly during the highway intro but it was still worth it. Even using a bootdisc to create a RAM cache didn't help too much. For it's time it was state of the art gaming and it still stands out, especially the music and atmospheric landscapes.
1 of the best point and click.... bring back memories
Looking back, I still can’t understand why Ben rejected Ripburger’s offer in the first place aside from his ego getting in the way.
Full Throttle remake comes out April 18th, 2017 for PS4, PS Vita and PC.. You excited? I definitely am!!
I was excited:) I'm playing it now, should have it up pretty soon!
super ya thanks for uploading this
good old days
This would be a great movie . 🎥 🍿
Sylvester Stallone as ben
I love playing this game
Front wheel loose, hair rock blasting .... Open road highway !
🤘🤘
Man, this brings back so many memories. The music, the voices, the story. Amazing! Played it so many times! I have the old disk lying around goodness-knows where, but is there anywhere I can find this game as a download? Would love to play through it again!
Thanks for the memory trip!
Andreas Bevan me too man. It really brings me back. We had the exact memories. Where has time gone?
look on good old games
It's been remastered in Steam
It's on steam
Happy to watch the game 🥹
Joguei muito com meu pai. Que nostalgia! Esse jogo é muito legal
08:55 some JOKER took my keys I swear that must be a nod to batman the animated series
is this the full gamplay? why is it the other one 2 hours and 46 minutes? and these fights are kind of skipped. Is it skipping anything else?
My childhood :(
So sad this game never got a sequel. The protag was so awesome.
Looks like they took direct inspiration from the Gangleader of the Clowns in Akira, because it looks almost identical to the MC's
"Help me, Ben. You're my only hope!"
Star Wars reference?
Of course, it's a LucasArts game :) Sam n Max also has a few Star Wars references in it
One of the greats
1:28:25 " Ben, what are you doing ? Get over here and nail me ! " If you know what i mean, huehuehuehue
omg lol
ah shit, that's some childhood memories right there.... Awesome, thanks!
I can recognize the style of the people who later created Brutal Legend. :-3
Because it's not other that Tim Schafer, the creator of Brutal Legend and Psychonauts.
i played this game like 13 years ago why the fuck do i remember this game so much
Ripburger is Tommy Lee Jones. 😂
Ray Stevenson would have been perfect as Ben too bad he is gone! This would be a killer movie
Awesome I used to play it
that scene at 1hr 48 min with the plane and truck hanging out of it was just like an Uncharted game.. they probably stole it from this!
Such a great game, but so painfully short.
Even it short.. it took me almost a year to beat the game first time i play in 1998 ...
@@24t7
That’s great! 👍🏻
Ohhh WOW...nostalgia INC :D
1979 - Mad Max
1981 - Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior
1995 - Full Throttle
Nice video
Great game
From Tim Schafer The Creators Of Psychonauts & Brutal Legend ❤️😍
I'm curious if you recall receiving any Copyright Claims due to The Gone Jackals song "Legacy" in the opening of this game. I'm currently fighting The Orchard who false flagged my other channel's let's play video of Full Throttle.
Christopher Andrews I got a notice for that song and they monetized it, but i didn't get any kind of trouble for it
NintendoComplete Thank you so much for your response!!
But what happen to the goofy news reporter? o3o
Had this game years ago came with
A demo of dark forces.
16 people weren't putting their lips on that
i remember playing a demo of this as a teen. maybe on dark forces?
Open up Todd.
If anything... I think this game needs to be re-released, along with the Neverhood since Armikrog is coming out eventually. Just my opinion, but seeing a game I grew up with just sit in the dust and not be known kind of feels saddening for me. Plus, since Lucas Arts doesn't exist anymore because of Disney... well... idk. At least thanks to scummvm I can actually play this game a lot better than how I used to. The sound is much better (for some reason the sound was terrible...), but I think our copy was starting to bite the dust so... maybe that. This is a great game, its about as old as me (no really... 20 years old... nuff said) and needs to be shown again.
What’s the time stamp for him saying “I’m not putting my lips on that?” Lmao
before the lost and damned we had 2:22
holy fuck this game rocks
dang it....i haven't finish this game because my intel pentium 100 pc was broken
Only downside is that Mo & Ben didn't end up together, I would have.
the best game ...
They need to revive it
i love it
51:10
Ah yes the SNES version of full throttle
“does this look like an escort service to you”
Shhhhit
