I really love the retro styling of their sherpa jacket but this just looks like a much more practical option. The sherpa looks like it'd be absolutely horrible to wear in even slightly warm weather and at the price point it's at, I think it's shoddy to not include a removable liner and a couple of vents. This however, looks much more reasonable. Great for hot weather and if it's too cold then you can always chuck a coat on top of it. And it still gets the same AAA rating. Amazing!
An update after having one of these “shirts” for a couple of months. Ridden in hot (30c) and cool (5c), mix of urban commute, (very) brisk & motorway riding on an s1000r. Just superb - breathes well, feels like a light denim jacket, and the d30 ghost armour is hard to feel at all. Only negative is not many pockets but guess that is a AAA certification issue.
@@brendanm6921 at the moment in NSW it gets down to about 4C for an early morning run, and I will wear a t shirt and a light jumper under the Resurgence “shirt”. Cold enough to be wearing winter.
@@brianglendenning1632 Oh wow, I would not have expected this shirt to be that good at that low temperature. I am in the market for something which has great protection, isn't too bulky and can be worn in various different weather conditions and this really looks like a contender. Thanks for the answer :)
@@brendanm6921 it feels like a normal denim jacket, and I do slightly notice the CE2 back protector and do not notice the D30 shoulder and elbow pads at all
Fabulous shirt. I'm sure I'd like it, but I prefer a light leather jacket when it's hotter. They can also be worn socially when it's cooler. It does get cold in northern Thailand. Another excellent review, Andrew.
It's not a bad looking shirt, although I feel the poppers give it a bit of a "Country & Western" look. Are the bottom 2 poppers rubber coated to protect the tank? Thanks for the review.

Hi Brian, Thank you for sharing your experience on these! - Iza
At what point do feel like you need to start adding extra layers to combat the cold with this on?

Great tip!
Do the collars have snaps?
Looks a great product and a well presented video too.
Thank you!
Looks good, does the the collar button down?
How does this compare to the Rev It Urban Workers shirt? Is this resurgence shirt recommend for summer wear?
The CE rating is impressive. It's quite bulky. If you want summer wear, it might be worth looking at a vented option
Hi i bought this jacket last year november, but the size is too big for me. Can I still change the size?
