i like how mamamoo is experimenting with new sounds and we always get to see a ‚new side‘ of them but retro mamamoo was just really something else and it suit them so well. i really miss it so much. especially because there are barely any girl groups with a retro concept these days. i guess having a retro concept was more popular in the older kpop days and girl crush concepts are doing better nowadays. it‘s kinda sad but i‘m happy if the members are happy with their music.
This is because the majority of the rap is rapped by Hwasa (the one who lip synchs is most of the time not the one who actually sings it in the mv for some reason) - also a part of what wheein lip synchs was actually sang by Hwasa :)
Definitely. I miss those songs like Ahh Oop, Don't be happy, You're the best, Piano Man and Mr Ambiguous. I wish they would make some new music like those masterpieces again. It is not that I don't like their recent music, I like it, but Mamamoo's old music is what distinguished them from any other k-pop, plus it showcased their mature vocal.
the reason they changed the music is simple: these songs didn't sell. the moment they changed and went more poppy they got a win. they will not return to this sound cause it doesn't sell.
It's fine even if they don't return back to this music coz after all they need to meet their sales. I'm happy they've done it in the initial phase of their career so that it's added on their musicality

watching this again after a longtime and i remember clicking on the link when it was first released because of kwill and wheesung and being super impressed with (predebut!) mamamoo and just the pure groovy nature of this track only to be surprised by hakyeon and hongbin being in the mix as well. i just love this mv and song sooo much.
I think he have good vocal but not really good as much u saying I heard better for male vocal his voice is average or Ok , I am really not hating or something it just how I feel I heard alot of vocals his voice would have been better in group rather than solo with out mentioning examples their is alot of Great male vocal in Kpop

Mamamoo are not as popular as BTS internationally or even in Korea so obviously they will not get the same amount of likes and views. Mamamoo youtube channel = 6.5 million subscribers. BTS youtube channel = 64 million subscribers. why? cause BTS made live shows in the West and gained Western audience. Mamamoo don't make live shows in the West so their West audience is small. BTS were selling 5,000-6,000 copies in their albums. now they sell 2+ millions due to international fanbase. it's really a shame that Mamamoo didn't take the opportunity after BTS paved the way to Kpop in the West. Blackpink took the opportunity and made live shows in the West so now they have a massive international fanbase and get billions of views

I am a diehard STARLIGHT but I did not know VIXX got to do this. I never knew about this. I become a Moomoo because of their own talent not because my bias is here. So when I heard about this, I was so glad. VIXX my ultimate boy bias group and Mamamoo my ultimate girl bias group. I hope they'd do a collab someday. :D
When this came out 3 years ago, when I clicked thinking "Oh cool! Kwill has a new song!", is when I fell in love with Mamamoo and wondered why they weren't at the top of the kpop scene yet. When I see how loved they are nowadays, I feel proud for some reason, and extremely happy and excited!
I'm watching this in late 2019 after Mamamoo's new album release hip and Mamamoo has grown so much since this and it's all organic growth I can't believe they went from only 100 album sales in the first week at debut to 70,5k album's in the first week. What I love about this video is that they were brand-new and yet, they walked on-stage in the video like "Queens". It was like, the world does not know, and yet, "WE know!".
I still remember everyone claiming this was a copy of Mr. Mr. by another girl group. But they forgot to check the date, and this is just even predebut. Also Byul didn't rap on this one, Hwasa did mostly but watch it live and Byul did rap.

I am a diehard STARLIGHT but I did not know VIXX got to do this. I never knew about this. I become a Moomoo because of their own talent not because my bias is here. So when I heard about this, I was so glad. VIXX my ultimate boy bias group and Mamamoo my ultimate girl bias group. I hope they'd do a collab someday. :D

When this came out 3 years ago, when I clicked thinking "Oh cool! Kwill has a new song!", is when I fell in love with Mamamoo and wondered why they weren't at the top of the kpop scene yet. When I see how loved they are nowadays, I feel proud for some reason, and extremely happy and excited!

I'm watching this in late 2019 after Mamamoo's new album release hip and Mamamoo has grown so much since this and it's all organic growth I can't believe they went from only 100 album sales in the first week at debut to 70,5k album's in the first week. Mamamoo has really come from nothing to being so successful I'm a proud moomoo.
Still watching in 2021 and falling for Mamamoo all over again. Also K-Will & Wheesung are great 👍 This whole combo is 🔥
