eSNA is so classy, that while spilling the tea on this song she placed the blame directly on RBW and not on rookies Mamamoo who had no power about what the company decided. Other lesser people would have blamed them for attention. Classy behavior from queen eSNa.

It's painful how this is so underrated, This concept fits Mamamoo so much, and Esna wrote a purely amazing song. All four of their voices are powerful, and Moonbyul's rap is amazing.

At this point, I refuse to believe that they're idols. They're so far removed from the concept. They don't follow current trends, they did what they love (retro) and they voiced up their opinion through their song/rap. All their songs have no 'oppa,oppa, saranghae, come to me', instead they go upfront like "you like me? then say it, or buzz off" and this respect the girl theme "I don't need expensive things, I just want you to be a man". They made you focus on their voices and what they're saying, rather than suggestive body gesture or male-gaze bait. I truly respect this group, I hope they will go far or Kpop will lose a diamond in its industry

It's about a girl who's tired and frustrated over stereotypical way of boys approaching/treating girls. The tension build up and combust with Moonbyul's rap that ignite the angst "Trust oppa, do all men said that? Just like dad said, men are wolves" followed by Solar's explosive vocal saying "I give you chance, so don't screw it up". I think the arrangement fit the lyric well, and if they throw high note all over the place, the song will turn out like a psycho-bitch wailing for attention, rather than telling the guy how to respect a girl.
Yeah after reading the translation, this song is actually deep in terms of meaning itself which is good rather than "oppa saranghae you're my everything". And the music arrangement itself is just great (the brass, rhythm, groove) and to have powerful vocals all over the song will actually ruin the song like they'll be clashing with one another. After listening to this for few times, it grows in me gradually. I am enjoying the groove and rhythm of the song itself tbh.

I watched their live of Ahh Oop! with Esna and Esna's soul is definitely on another level! I thought it'd be a bit awkward at first since she doesn't dance the choreo but the more I watch the more appealing it is, her stage presence, yet it goes well with Mamamoo. I'm sure there'll be more collabs between them in the future~
Is it only me who isn't bothered that eSNa was dressed more matured than the girls? Because this MV is ome of my favorites and in the past I thought eSNa was a veteran singer, not just because of the looks but her voice is just...so goood.
Moonbyul killed it with her verse on this one. She has such short time to showcase her talent as a rapper on each song, but she does so everytime in such a wonderful way.
Reaching high notes aren't the only hard thing. It's so hard to sing in a low octave and sound good, so THESE GIRLS ARE SO FREAKING TALENTED!! They prove it over and over. Like some others have said, they aren't idol...they're artists. To sound so comfortable singing and being themselves. Love these girls so much. Hopefully the views will go up faster, they deserve so much more love. MAMAMOO FIGHTING!!!

I love the retro vibe and I'm a sucker for the guitar and bass guitar. Mamamoo's and eSNa's vocals are so different than what you usually hear in Kpop and that's just one of the reasons I love them. Maybe I'm feeling this way is because I was expecting Moonbyul's rap (that feels like a build-up bridge) and Solar's epic part to come in at 2:05? I knew I hear a new voice in this song. Esna has a sultry deep voice that complements this style of music. Actually they all adopted a deeper style for this song. The videos was really fun and creative too.

I watched their live of Ahh Oop! with Esna and Esna's soul is definitely on another level! I thought it'd be a bit awkward at first since she doesn't dance the choreo but the more I watch the more appealing it is, her stage presence, yet it goes well with Mamamoo. I'm sure there'll be more collabs between them in the future~

Reaching high notes aren't the only hard thing. It's so hard to sing in a low octave and sound good, so THESE GIRLS ARE SO FREAKING TALENTED!! They prove it over and over. Like some others have said, they aren't idol...they're artists. To sound so comfortable singing and being themselves. Love these girls so much. Hopefully the views will go up faster, they deserve so much more love. MAMAMOO FIGHTING!!!

Syl C Oh, I definitely listen through headphones when listening to Mamamoo to appreciate the instruments being played and all they vocals+harmonizing they do. I love the retro vibe and I'm a sucker for the guitar and bass guitar. Mamamoo's and eSNa's vocals are so different than what you usually hear in Kpop and that's just one of the reasons I love them. Maybe I'm feeling this way is because I was expecting Moonbyul's rap (that feels like a build-up bridge) and Solar's epic part to come in at 2:05? I probably just need more time to get used to it :P

where did they say that? i think they liked the songs themselves but just didn’t like that people were so judgmental and mean to them. it was only hwasa that was accused of being old but that was more because of her makeup and how mature she sounded and acted from a young age. this concept also helped them stand out among the other groups, otherwise they would’ve been buried and forgotten in the sea of debuts
