Parkway drive has to be my ultimate favorite band for a long list of reasons. Newer stuff is hit and miss but this album is pure gold! Keep on your parkway journey. Defdinatly worth it!
One of the best albums ever made. You can feel the raw emotion in the guitar work. The ending solo damn near makes me tear up every single time I listen to it. Please react to the Let the Ocean Take Me album by The Amity Affliction!!! You're on a roll man!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I really like Horizons but I think with Deep Blue they outdid themselves. I'd say its a perfect album. If you are not doing a full album reaction, then at least to home is for the heartless :D

Personally like Atlas more, but Deep Blue is solid. Horizons beats them both, though. Sorry.
You guys are all tripping. Deep Blue is a concept album with lyrics that tell a story from start to finish. Each song in chronological order. Along with arguably the heaviest songs they ever wrote. Atlas is really great and a very close second. But IRE is hardly even close. Not a bad album but not in the same level as what came before it.

That tempo balance you're talking about are called "breakdowns" possibly my favourite part about metal and old school parkway drive and August burns red (composure and Marianas trench) were my introduction to the genre. Welcome to the dark side brother 🤘
