The attention they give to the cabinets is insane. On top of everything else they have, a weathered lock down bar with a lock!
It is wild how they can miniaturize these cabinets yet maintain the details of the original. Next cab that may be coming in the next couple months will be Q*Bert. From what I understand, this one has a solenoid to replicate the sound when Q*Bert falls off the edge. I just can't stop buying these machines, I'm addicted 👍😎
@@WagnersTechTalk I preordered Q* Bert. That will be my first replicade. I just don’t understand how New Wave can have such detail in their products but Arcade1up is still behind in doing what this company already does. I wish I knew the answer as to why they can’t make an exact replica of the cabinets as they originally were designed? But I know they are starting too.
For the prices that A1UP is charging today, I also would expect much more from them. I only own one of their cabs, Star Wars and they did a great job with that one. You might get a kick out of the first 3 min. of that review video: ua-cam.com/video/7OjsjUIKrQ0/v-deo.html
1942 was the first game I could complete in an arcade room by 1988. the game had 32 levels.

Love the Chaos! In the late 80's, this game taught me I could survive , seemingly, a no win situation ( Capt Kirk ). Awesome!

Mine doesn't come till January 5th.. my mini player 2 stick comes supposedly on the 3rd. Why they didn't ship both together is beyond me.

The label on this cabinet indicates 2695/3000.
They make such great products but quality control is an issue. That scuffing on top is not intentional; it's just careless assembly. I have the first 7 games NWT has made (and my 1943 should arrive next week), but I've had to return two of them because they arrived damaged (and not from poor handling while shipping - they are packed very well), and there is a third I could have returned, but I didn't want to be bothered for something small and cosmetic.
The scuffing is only found on the top, so you're likely correct. I wiped it down a bit, just ever so slightly visible now not a concern for me at this point. This is my 5th nwt unit, I've not run into one that needed to be returned. Really looking forward to Q*Bert!

Yeah, Capcom's late 80s machines all used the same cabinet shell; e.g. 1943, street fighter, buster bros, black tiger, etc.
And some like 1943 and street fighter even had the same grey with black speckles control decks. In the past, I've heard that look described as their "laundromat cabinets".
Great but you can't buy them anywhere.
