Dawn definitely paid with her life. Loving whales is wonderful, but getting in the water with them is just not wise in general. These are huge animals with wild instincts. I remember first seeing Haida the whale as an adolescent in Vancouver and feeling sorry for him. Tillikum had already been involved with two other people dying. I don't blame the whale, but it's just not fair to expect them to live in what are large fish tanks. Just doesn't feel right. Don't love the zoo for these reasons as well.
There is an incredible story of love between orcas and trainers. Orcas loved to be loved, unleashing the orca's astonishing talent.
It.was.a.good.time.for.all.the.ladies.i.still.miss.them.hail.to.Dawn.in.her.love.and.truthfullness.13years.later.the.memmories.are.still.strong.

It is so painful what happened to Dawn. She loves Tilikum so much.
I do agree with you I think she did as much as she could for those whales she was a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart I truly believe that.
