Now looking back in March 2022, Carr is the only one left from that 2016 season. Carr has been disrespected because he worked for an incompetent owner and head coach ever since 2016.
Amari Cooper is now with the Cleveland Browns, Khalil Mack is with the LA Chargers, and most everybody else is retired or getting close, but Derek Carr is about to explode on the scene later in 2022 as a true MVP candidate and future hall of famer with Davante Adams playing with him...

we were lucky to win that Colts game. My brother was at that game and he said the stadium was so quiet- you can here a pin drop. It was as if all the air was sucked out. I was in buffalo wild wings during that time full of other Raiders fans and as soon as Carr went down, everybody stopped moving and talking. I was at the Buffalo Wild wings right across the street from Fresno State too- Carr's alma mater. So everyone in there was a Carr fan, regardless of what team they rooted for.

Damn, that was a great season. Broke my heart and the heart of everyone in the Coliseum that day in Oakland when he broke his leg. It was the most somber, soul crushing, damn near funeral procession like walk from the stadium to the BART station I'd ever experienced after a Raider game.
I have high hopes for 2020, Carr, The Las Vegas Raiders, Coach Gruden and Raider Nation have a lot of positive energy going into the NFL Draft and upcoming season.
Derek Carr became one of my favorite players to watch this year.

Im a Chargers fan and i have to say I miss these oakland Raiders man. Wheres the AfC West? Before we were the most feared division in the NFL. now the team has become a joke and man i would have love to see these Raiders face my current Chargers. This rivalry is a great one. Carr's mechanics and release are beautiful to watch. He probably has the best fundamentals in the NFL. He can throw bullets when he has to but most of his throws make the ball soar gracefully, like an eagle.

I really don't care for the Raiders, but Derek Carr is one hell of a quarterback and I have tons of respect for him. I would be really worried if my Packers ever had to face him in the post-season.
not a raider fan but seeing him break his leg was tough, hopefully he has that drive and will because an injury like that will always be in his mind, hopefully comes back strong, he can be one of the elites this year now that the best are aging and declining and close to hanging up their cleats.

im a fresno state fan so of course i had carr as my #1. already knew his potential n saw what kind of player he was that everybody else couldnt see when he was coming out for the draft. bortles, teddy, n manziel were just qbs media liked to hype up before draft day like any other qb in other drafts. that's why carr didnt have any where near the spotlight they were having. was over look because he went to fresno state, played in weak mwc competition, n was david Carr's brother. happy to see him making his naysayers eat crow now lol

Man this videos giving me the chills already I remember during the 2014 season when he got drafted we weren't at 3 and 13 record I was a senior at high school I was so angry after that lost but when I told everybody that was beginning start and gets better later but nobody believed me until we went to seven and nine next season then the following season is 12 and 4 this team has been with me for a long time even though I like the team since when I was seven never watch them play all the way until High School by here a lot of bad things have been going through so I'm happy we're back that we should have been a reminds me of a sequel movie that we're back in black
