When we multiply any scalar number with a determinent then it will be multiplied with any row or column not with every elements, i think you have done a little mistake while solving question 2(Xi)

We can't expend these questions. Using properties means without epension. Properties are given in the article you can verify there is no property of expending.

sister i got it what you mean i hope this might help you if you havent found the answer yet.So basically its a determinant and when we say 2det(A) here 2 is a constant number and this 2 is multiplied only with one row or column it will me much clear if you take K as constant. IF WE SAY K(detA) it means K(constant) is multiplied only with one column or row of the determinant now if we say K^3(detA) which is k power 3 of det A now here it means we are having 3 times k and these 3k's are multiplied with the whole determinant if the determinant is 3x3 then each column will be multiplied with k or each row and then whole determinant will have k . BUT IF A MATRIX A IS MULTIPLIED BY K SUCH AS K(A) then this constant k is with the whole matrix. so i hope you might get my point.
in simple words in determinants we multiply the constant number or variable only with any of the row or column but in matrix its the opposite in matrix we multiply the number with the whole rows and column of the matrix i hope you get it now
