Came across this song on my lunch break it blew my mind. It brings me back to David Bowie. But it also shows you never know with this man. He takes it to the next level.
Bowie and Pink Floyd had a love child and it came out as this song. Timber Timbre never ceases to surprise me.
Faaaaaaaaaaaaame
with a dash of Stevie Wonder
Holly shit I came down to the comments section to say exactly that! Great minds think alike.
. . . and a touch of Brian Ferry
It begins like a song by Babasónicos (the song is called "Irresponsables"). Look for it and listen to it.
I long for the day when HD can properly handle the noise/grainy effect and we'll all be able to watch this in its full glory
There's something a tiny bit 'Golden Years' about this, very good very unique sounding - really like it
0:30 Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine
This singer reminds me a lot of David Bowie
Genius!!! Goosebumps back...didn’t happen lately with the new bands!
What a wonderful song. What a wonderful album.
sensational album.
The new Fame Bowie is somewhere real proud.
This one goes out to politicians everywhere.
Love it! different than the old stuff, love all the sound colors in it. reminds me of king crimson 80s stuff.
Saw them live last night, and the new material translates really well to their live show. Still dark, still Timber Timbre, but a nice and calculated evolution of their sound. They also played their older stuff with new energy that this album brings. I for one, love it. But can understand people being frustrated with such a radical change in their sound.
I agree it's not radical to those who understand the evolution of their sound over time, and how they've managed to maintain the integrity of their style throughout. However, there's obviously a lot of people who are jarred by the new sound. I'm keen to acknowledge that, but disagree respectfully.
ils sont sacrément talentueux, ces garçons. Bravo!
BEST CLIP EVER !
yes of course you've seen 'em all ... eh eh
I love how this song goes all 80s John Hughes movie style at 01:40
HOW DARE YOU!
This almost sounds like a dr dre beat. Especially towards the end with the one piano note playing repeatedly. Love it regardless this guys a genius.
I hear "very superstitious" all over that guitar riff
a melon told me this was trash but it's kinda good actually
+WasteLand I think he was just saying in comparison to their other stuff he wasn't digging it
melon dont know shit sometimes
Its supposed to be greasy, not haunting this album. Turdy Bandana can eat a bag of D's. The whole album is supposed to be a mirror on the American political cess pit.
FTFY Melon don't know shit
he was very wrong on this album. he did not give it enough spins clearly
OMG why I am discovering this song just now? it's so sexy and catchy.
Best song on the album
Sewer blues
fucking greasy. love it
would sound great on the despacio soundsystem!!
It's got funk! I dig it! Hit song!
Truly fantastic song + wonderfully animated = 🤍🩶🖤 Well done guys!!!
Superb video!
très bon titre & superbe vidéo
Cool vid
great song
hi armie hammer xx
Thanks Armie.H😍
Everyone’s comparing this to Bowie but I have to say, I definitely hear a bit of a Bryan Ferry sound too to the singer’s voice
1:38 reminds me of Posthumous Forgiveness by Tame Impala, beginning of the second part
This shit funky
a melon told me this was the 80ies like david Bowie, but it´s more kinda history repeats periodly, again and again ;-)
nunca + eu vou dormir
Gotta be honest, I think Taylor was listening to Taco's Puttin on the ritz for this one.
bowie vibes!
like bowie in the late 80's early 90's
👍👍👍
do i hear a bit of 3 dog night or......? bowie or......?
Instrumentals kinda reminds me of tragedy by beegees
...reading the lyrics, do they make anyone think of someone (famous)?
nice clavinet
Yepp!
Armie Hammer sent me here!!! Rare video!!
here bc of armie hammer
Ben Howard :me too
Such an awful song
It had to happen. It sounds cool though...
Song was simple .....sorry. Boring.
did you even listen to the headache inducing syncope-triplet-bass-drum-rythm-madness
how is that simple
