Stylish, classy and avant guarde in the truest sense of the term. This performance by Urge Overkill encapsulates the spirit of the nineties and the recurring cultural impact of that era. This rendition hasn`t lost an ounce of it`s energy and originality.
dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown :)
I must have heard this song @ least 100 times, this being the first live version, and it still possesses the ability to move me. Great performance! Forgive the soul that offers the first dislike, for they clearly lack the ability for abstract thought.
Misfits brought me here !great song!!;D Singer looks like Tom Petty and sounds a bit like him. DA best movie EVAH! xD Dude is sooo cool!!! I was raised on this song, and must say - Urge did great nod to the original.
Tom Petty does Neil Diamond. What an emotion filled song. These guys killed it. I'd thought this was Neil Diamond. There's always some goof who didn't get the memo.
Kato and Eddie get most of the credit, but.. Johnny "Blackie Onassis" Rowan on drums was a driving force behind their biggest hits.. His struggles with drugs cost him his job.
He had a problem with his bass drum foot, and with reproducing the same lines from take to take. Listen to Saturation for the bass drum and you can tell which songs are his tracks. He played most of Exit though@@pyenapple
The band pretty much broke up after the European leg of the Exit tour was cancelled when the record company pulled tour support while the band was in Brazil. That sucked for the crew, we had taken pay cuts to go to Brazil and needed the European tour to make up the money. . It was between Ed and Nash at that point, Blackie wrote a lot of what was submitted to Geffen by Nash as the next UO record. After Geffen rejected the tapes/dropped the band, Ed and management enjoined Nash from using the UO name.
It's a real creepy song and I love it. I do a cheesie one man ego trip lounge singer show and had a girl request this and I had fun hacking through it. Now to learn it proper! Thumbs up!
I really enjoy listening to this song! Do you think it might have any connection to The Seven of pentacles card in Tarot? I came across an interesting game called "Tarot for Karaoke" which involves singing and asking Tarot with friends. The game doesn't provide any descriptions but instead focuses on the emotions conveyed through the songs.

He could play the shit outta those drums.
Yeah. But he didn’t do most of the drumming on Saturation or Exit the Dragon. He was great, but he wasn’t as tight as Andy Kravitz (Butcher Bros.)

he looks like tom petty (R.I.P). that's one of my fav top 10 songs of all time.

@@ElverinHolm what does that mean?
Nice cover, but... Neil Diamond's original work is unbeatable.

It’s a great cover but I prefer Neil Diamonds rougher version.
Amazing performance , actually the best in You tube but that "guitar solo" is horrible , worst guitarist ever
