Nice work man..... 3 questions? Are you shooting wide open 2.8? Are you using auto ISO? Can you do a video were you do some post work so we can see what they look like SOOC and then edited. Short video nothing long?
Yes I shoot with a Sony 24-70mm 2.8 wide open, auto ISO, on aperture priority during bright daylight. If it gets darker and my Shutter speed falls below 1/250 I switch to shutter speed priority 1/250. Yes for sure a short editing tutorial video!
Wow! So impressive how you just rolled through all those poses without missing a beat... I have been a photographer for five years now but I still sometimes struggle with the poses....what would you suggest? How did you learn?
Hey Selena, great question! Yes I do have advice. Stick to 15 prompts and poses only. Master these 15 IN ORDER and how to direct them. Then just cycle through the same 15 prompts and poses in different locations. 5 moving poses, 5 funny prompts, and 5 warm and fuzzy cute poses. I'd recommend these 5 moving / action prompts (Walk and hold hands, Pick her up pose, dip and kiss her, spin her, follow me walk) are all great ones. Next 5 Fun / laughing prompts ( Drunk walk, say same color at same time, whisper favorite fast food order in ear in dirty voice, ABC conversation, and tell each other the weirdest thing you love about the other) Last 5 warm and fuzzy poses. These are more visual and harder to explain but go ahead and pick some of your favorites and go from there. Forehead to forehead, reach up and grab his/her chin as you go for a kiss, hug from behind, hug arm side hold, etc.
@@Andrewphoto oh my gosh...I never expected you to reply in soooo much detail, especially! You are awesome!! Those tips are going to help me immensely... Some of the very best advice that I've heard in my six years of photography! Thank you so much!
@@selenamartin9632 Well I’m glad you found this useful! It’s ok to feel like you don’t know what your doing sometimes. It’s all about making the couple think you know exactly what you’re doing. Let the photos flow out of the unknowns and just get good at improvising. Break the rules here and there and just have fun. That’s what it’s all about, creating fun memories.
