Perfect home for a vampire. The inner house is secure, no windows, and unless you know the history of the house you'd never suspect that it's there. . .
The secret house inside the house is probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen and a smart way to preserve a part of history. I'm kind of glad they built it into the house since Japan isn't really know for preserving older buildings
the single bathroom is a deal breaker, especially for 4 stories jesus. That being said, this video was easily the most polished and well edited so far. Great to see the ever improving production.
By far the most bizarre house yet. Whoever built the new house had great taste. I could just sit in the room with carved wooden wall panels and chill for hours. Piece of art.
This is a house with a multiple personality disorder and various identity crisis's going at the same time. It is absolutely a hot mess and still glorious. From the erratic tilework, mixed design themes to having a pawnshop built into it and then going back to just plain old regular tatami rooms and a standard japanese kitchen and bedrooms. To just finally ripping off it's mask and showing it was all built around a old warehouse. I admire the confidence and dedication of the people that shaped this house to what it became, but damnit it is loopy. I love it.
I gotta be honest. At first, I didn't think this channel was going to keep my interest. But you are just improving every video and these make for a great laidback chill watch Everytime. Definitely earned my sub.
I'm also a voice actor and what's crazy is at about 8:20 when you asked what I'd use the house for I was literally thinking, "I be the internal rooms would be great for circumventing street noise" haha. Good stuff
The first room that looks like it could be a master looks like it would be an office. Of all the houses I've seen on this channel so far, this is the one I would get. This is PERFECT if you run a shipping business or inventory business because your warehouse is IN your house.
I have always seen you on Chris' channel and recently on Onigiri, so I have decided to check you out and my mind is blown on the production of your videos. Good editing, a bit serious but always on point with the humor and it is so engaging. I am now disappointed that I just checked on you just now.
I didn't think that I had the capacity to have a crush on a house, but now I know it's possible! Idk how else to put it other than I feel like my soul is built for living and existing in such a space.
This is one of the most unique buildings in the entire world. Absolutely fascinating I'm not surprised a previous tenant was a VA, because the storehouse part would be an incredible recording studio
That house is awesome. I like weired houses more than boring luxury houses. Thanks for showing it. AND: Finally "fresh" videos. I watched the "transfered" ones as well (for the algorithm and because I like houses ;) ), but I'm happy that you finished the backlog. Keep up the great work. If I ever get rich I may need your services ;)
That would make a great panic room! I wouldn't want to own it myself, but that would make a cool B&B. Lots of room for the kids to hide in and explore. Thanks for sharing! I love seeing different design ideas. 🍻
While I will never in my life expect to live in any of the properties that are shown on your channel I am always fascinated by their design and general look of the various properties.
as one starting to study interior design and rom-architecture in 2-3 days, these videos are really interesting for me to watch. But sometimes when I see the layout or the choices made, I go "Why?", but then customers are an interesting bunch of people!
your videos are always a treat! This house is really unique. As a Locksmith this really speaks to me :D I would love to live in a old bank building or something similar. The only things even better would be a old church or temple. Looking forward to your next upload :)
This is the most weird looking ensemble of building I've ever seen. I'm glad they kept the old house that is wonderful, but the reason for all those armoured doors which makes a safe out if it, really escapes me...🤔
This is my favorite place so far! I love it, I love it, I love it! If I had the money, I would certainly buy this. I like places that are completely unusual. I'm hoping in the future you will find some more unusual places with a lot of character. Thank you so much for this video!
Wow, I've been watching various videos where you see tatami mats but as soon as you said the smell of tatami I was hit was a childhood memory of sleeping on a tatami surface. I was born in Taiwan, not Japan, but we do have some Japanese cultural influences. I guess one of those is sleeping on tatami grass. I remember we had a roll my parents or grandparents would unroll for you to lie on. It's great because it still feels cool to the touch even when its super hot. And that smell, I can still smell it now even though I haven't seen tatami or used it in 20ish decades!
I would love to have this type of storage for things. I like to have prepper supplies and all that and having those vault like doors hiding some neat rooms and storage areas would be magnificent for making a ridiculous and overboard disaster/apocalypse prepper area hidden inside your house lol
this is so cool. so many possibilities. i would 1000% put a little rooftop bar up there. i love that Japanese architecture actually utilizes the roof as a usable space. we need more of that in the west. i would use that old pawn shop for my TCG collection, and then the inner house for my music.
Ok, this is one of the coolest places yet. And one way to preserve history. Though we didn't get to see what was behind door number 2 in the kitchen. I would use the second house to watch movies and stuff. It's amazing.
That's actually a pretty cool house! It has so many things in it and another house inside the house? Amazing! Only one bathroom though which would be a problem when there's many occupants. Also, the storehouse is nice but the thick everything alongside the only two entrances in it are kind of scary lol. Imagine feeling locked up inside a house and then realizing it's a house within another house so there's no outside the other side of the wall yet (and it's kind of dark in there, too). It's an interesting but also sort of creepy house. Also full of potential (you could do so much in it).
3:55 Wow... I think that's the smallest room I've ever seen. I was impressed by four floors, but then you show a house inside a house, and my mind was blown! XD Clever idea to use it was a voice over studio. No one is going to hear you in there! What a unique and crazy place. Its the kind of crazy stuff I thought you'd only see in dreams. Loved it!
Showed this vid to my colleague and the first thing she said when she saw the hidden house was, "Damnit, that looks like a property Christian Grey from 50 Shades might buy!" I literally LMAO when she said that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
that was a curious one. The woodwork in the second house was impressive and the pawn shop storeroom an odd decsion to save as is, but definitely a part that added to the overall quirkiness.
At 1:04, it looks like a snake versus a mongoose. Or a snapping turtle against a snake. Love the design of this house. So unique with different features. And how they use the materials to regulate the temperature. Nice feature and the A/C might not need to be overpowered to cool down everything. Overall, great video.
Now THAT would be perfect for my mancave. Casual non descript in the front. Secret hiding place in the back. I'm not even sure what I would keep there, but there's bound to be something (maybe an audiophile or gaming room).
The perfect anime protagonist house, they have the uniqueness and the non questioned layout for the home. Where the whole cast would be in odd situations around the house.
We're all wondering: what would you possibly do with the house in the house?
Studio in the warehouse, storefront on the street. This property is incredible, thanks so much for showing us these places!
Perfect home for a vampire. The inner house is secure, no windows, and unless you know the history of the house you'd never suspect that it's there. . .
Murder house, the thick walls and metal doors would keep the corpse's stench in.
kidnapping house, ez.
kidding aside, my own music studio probably.
@@JaceC-1985 not just the stench but the screams

2 toilets! 🚽
There's a 3rd SECRET toilet that didn't make the cut
There is multiple toilets though and i always use my kitchen sink because my downstairs bathroom sink is busted so not bad at all
Learn to share not take 1hour showers every day
@@TokyoPortfolio the hole to the foundation layer doesn't count as a toilet... ;)

Keep watching, there'll be much more where this came from
The 'original' house is absolutely stunning. I love the wood beams!
this house is STUNNING. the house within the house is way too cool! i’d imagine utilizing that space for my studio hahaa. great video as always, sir!
While it may not have enough natural light for my personal taste, DAMN that house has character. Definitely one of the coolest apartment tours yet
Character? This has several characters, all wrapped around each other...
Your production has gotten so good … congratulations on hugely improving the videography, editing, script, and presentation.
That internal house could be a great streaming room lol. A cool, well-isolated room where you won't disturb the neighbors with your screaming.
I'm also a voice actor and what's crazy is at about 8:20 when you asked what I'd use the house for I was literally thinking, "I be the internal rooms would be great for circumventing street noise" haha. Good stuff
Amazing house. I really appreciate a house where you can have fun exploring; that can be mysterious and quirky.
The first room that looks like it could be a master looks like it would be an office.
Of all the houses I've seen on this channel so far, this is the one I would get. This is PERFECT if you run a shipping business or inventory business because your warehouse is IN your house.
Yeah, but imagine how far you have to run each day to the bathroom when you have the second one as your master....
@@ohauss It's a Japanese micro house so the bathroom could be literally anywhere and still just be a couple steps away.
Production value of the cat picture alone is epic. :) What an awesomely unique home.
Love the improved editing on this upload! Cheers.

It's a cool house. Unique, stylish, and beautiful. At the same time, very very weird.
i would move into this house in a heartbeat. i absolutely love how strange it is!
While I will never in my life expect to live in any of the properties that are shown on your channel I am always fascinated by their design and general look of the various properties.
This is the weirdest house I've seen yet, and that's saying something. Weird, but also amazing. I'd live there.
Really loving the content lately, it's super interesting, and the editing fun, and the whole thing is even relaxing~
as one starting to study interior design and rom-architecture in 2-3 days, these videos are really interesting for me to watch. But sometimes when I see the layout or the choices made, I go "Why?", but then customers are an interesting bunch of people!
Such a UNIQUE house, love it
I feel like for houses with really unique layout, a continuous walk around is better than the transition cut. Easier to imagine the space.
holy.... the craftmanship of the warehouse is amazing.... the wood looks so solid
Great editing and amazing presentation skills!
I really love the Editing style of this Video
I actually love this place!!
Very cool house tour, thanks dude, I'm glad you did the videos with Chris so we could find you, love the channel!!!
What a wonderfully unique house, thanks for sharing this
Can I just say the production quality has increased so much, it's crazy. So glad Alex is doing more video as well.
I dig it. My grandma's 400 year old home back in Poland also had tons of secret doors and passageways I couldn't open as a child XD

Thats is crazy. I love the japanese houses.. All so different. Thanks for showing us!
Very eccentric, but really cool property. Also, this vid is really well edited! Looking forward to watching more of your vids in the future.
Probably one of the coolest houses, I've ever seen. Simply amazing!
Thats a crazy house, really well finished. My only concern would be 1 bath... by the front door?

This house is so unique!! Absolutely love your channel. That ending DELIVERED wow. What a crazy home
I’d love to see a few of these videos about more affordable properties. Great stuff all around.
this video is so good and relaxes it makes me feel sleepy

A different video on this house showed a hidden door under that cat shelf that lead to a different set of stairs that went down.
We don't talk about what's down those stairs

This is the coolest one so far! probably best used as a dorm or something. Would be fun to live there with 3 of your mates
Wow, this is amazing! It would be great for getting the creative juices flowing for figuring out how to utilize all the space.
This house is insanely cool
So dope! Love these tours!
One of the coolest places I've ever seen! Thank you!
I really liked the style of this video more than the ones before it. Keep it up! I can't even afford these houses but it's fun to watch!

Could you imagine how much fun this house would be for kids! What a cool pad!
Best potential location for a Sake Wine Podcast. Whatever that could be, it could be cool.
This is the first place you've ever showed that I'd never want to live in, but it's still super interesting to see.

I’m addicted to looking at real estate videos for houses I can’t afford. Help me.
It's verry 80's/early 90's.
I like it.

Only in japan you can have a house in your house.
“Just how hot and muggy a Japanese summer is” ….shows a clip of California. 😂 just messing, love the video style and cool property!

the house is cool and i like some of the design parts. the storage "house" would be a good panic room^^

Just found your channel, dope videos 👌🏼
That house within a house would be my bedroom. Somewhere dark, quiet, with thick walls and doors? Perfect place to sleep, rest, and relax.
Now that's one awesome and unique property!
Was not expecting an Edo period warehouse to just be existing like that. Super cool.
That house inside the house would make for a great library and reading nook.

This house is def a first for how it's built. I like the inner warehouse and safe doors lol
That's really cool, I wish we had something unique like that in Australia.
Absolutly mindblowing! WoW!
I love the fact to have enough storage room and in addition its like a big safe. You just need to buy a good lock :p
this place is cool i like it. It reminds me a bit of the Winchester Mystery House. Pretty cool and awesome tour keep up the amazing videos.
The perfect anime protagonist house, they have the uniqueness and the non questioned layout for the home. Where the whole cast would be in odd situations around the house.
I have a new goal in life to own this house!!! It’s so beautiful 💞
3:36 I'm getting a Dalek vibe from this design.
The lack of bathrooms is pretty much disqualifying for any practical renters.
This classic meme comes to mind: "Yo, dawg! I heard you like houses. So we put a house within a house, so you can live in it as you live in it."
Those exposed electric wires are very charming!
