Bird Photography: Photographing Hooded Mergansers on the Connecticut River Flood Plains | Nikon Z9

Join me today as I head out on a windy February day to photograph hooded mergansers. These diving ducks are alway some of my favorite to watch and photograph because the males and females are both very beautiful. I set myself up in a good position and eventually the wind died down and I was able to get some great photos and videos of these birds as they were foraging in the shallow water in front of me.
