I’m turning into an Ophelia Soap collector! I journal the soaps, i use them until they disappear into nothing and sob as they leave my world hoping that some day they will be recreated. I just love your creations! :))
Love your videos, and just wanted to let you know that someone stole your video and posted it as one of them under the name of Angelica’s Soapery. I reported it but I think you should contact UA-cam about this.
ME TOO! I’ve literally been fighting off a panic attack for the last hour or so and as soon as I started watching this video everything went away… I never realized what it was before but I think you’re right it’s just how perfect everything is that’s super calming.
This was one of the most relaxing things I think I've ever watched on UA-cam, and it was beautiful! If it smells half as beautiful as it looks, you have a customer for life.
That spoon textured top, that spoon textured top! I just love that! The colors always pop and fit the design of the bars which ALWAYS fit the fragrance! You're very good Julie and if you don't know by now, you should :) As they say today, "You got this!" Keep creating you inspire us all! One day, you should open a studio somewhere (or online classes) and TEACH this! hmmmmm.....just me thinking to myself again :) Another beautiful bar.....Much respect...soapy hugz from the desert state!
Your soap making videos are very satisfying to watch I Like 3:01 Spooning part and 7:28 cutting part a lot. Beautiful relaxing colors..Fully watch and big LIKE 👍😍🌸💖
Tried the heat transfer method for the first time..... WOW! I don’t know why I waited so long to try it! It worked beautifully and I love that I don’t have to wait!
I was wondering how well it worked! What temp do you get the lye to and how is it heated up? I am sure I can Google it but there are so many different opinions and ideas I never know which to listen to. (I am very new to this.)
So pretty! I'm loving that color combination, and the purple specks in the white layer 😍 Your soaps are always so smooth and buttery! Just looking at them makes my skin happy!
Beautiful soap as always. The colors are stunning, and when you added the purple beads I thought what on earth is that going to do, but when you cut that soap and you could see them and that layer absolutely beautiful!
Currently learning how to do soap and this is very amazing and pleasing to the eye. Enjoy watching your cutter also and the mold?! INSANE!!! love it thanks for this great video!
LOVE watching you make soap! That fragrance oil sure seemed to accelerate on you! Nice job though, have to say: your colour choices were amazing; again!!😳🤷♀️💞 sorry, always forget to mention, ADORE your music accompaniment selections too. Different, yet soothing and inspiring.😁🧚♀️🦄
I mix as little as possible in the beginning. When I pour each layer I will blend it extra so it will thicken up faster and by the time I do the next layer it is pretty solid :)
Hi dear,I am following your videos which helps me in preparing result worthy soaps... Pls post a video how to prepare home made shampoo by cold process...Thank you
New subscriber here.....this video was so relaxing after a stressful day. I have really been thinking about getting into soap making, but it seems so complex.
Thank you so much! You are correct. 😂 When I decided to learn about soap making. I literally think I bruised my brain 😂 But it is super fun and addictive! Give it a try. Start small. It may change your life! 💗
Hi @opheliassoapery 👋 New to your channel. . At 3:37 you remixed the set aside batch with purple jojoba beads, and added a little liquid. Was that more water or oil to 'loosen' it up a bit? Great content!! Thanks
Do you bevel the edges of your soaps? It looks like it in some of the close up shots at the end. Love the colors and fragrance combination btw, I think I'll be buying this one :D
Hi! I have some great smelling Jojoba oil infused with Frankincense and Myrrh resin. Can I buy a loaf of unscented cold pressed soap, melt it and add the Jojoba infused oil, then pour it back in a mold to harden again? Thank you for your time and input.
Hi, could you tell me where do you buy the fragrance? I have been using essential oils but it cost me a lot of many for the quantity I have to put in the soap. Thank you for your fantastic videos!
Hi! I'm building my business website, and I've got a brief explanation of how soap is made in my FAQ. Would you mind if I linked to this video as an example of the process? I feel like it's a good example of making batter and creating a design without overwhelming a potential customer with too much information, plus it's fun and relaxing to watch.
Hi, I just started watching your channel. I’m just curious how the heat transfer method works? Do you heat the lye? I just started making soap for my family so I’m still learning. Thx
Hello! Let me direct you to @royaltysoaps She has a beginners guide to soap making :) Start here: ua-cam.com/video/1R68zaZHgBU/v-deo.html Then: ua-cam.com/video/kESIaTZJCUk/v-deo.html
How do you keep the top layers fluid enough to pour when the bottom layer is already hardened? Is that water that you add to the pitchers to thin it out? If so, how do you know how much water to add? Newish soapmaker here :)
No it was the fragrance oil. I try not to over stick blend in the beginning. The more blending you do the faster the batter will thicken up. Mixing colors in with a whisk or just hand stirring will work. So if you’re making a layered color soap. You could stick blend the first layer a little more so it will be set up enough for the next layer so it doesn’t go through. If that makes sense.. 😂
Thank you so much. I found the on walmart.com. Rubbermaid Commercial space savers. I am familiar with webstaurant. I purchased one on Ebay. 8.00 it was new. Thanks
I’ve actually been getting it recently. If I don’t have any botanicals on the soap I’ll wash the top while it’s in the mold. And let it dry before I cut it. I use a water discount and force gel. That is supposed to help with it. :/
I try not to over stick blend. It could be your stick blender too. Some are more powerful than others. I never bring my soap to trace. Just right before. As long as it’s reached emulsion you’re good. Also if you soap at cooler temperatures (80° or so) that will help too.
I’m turning into an Ophelia Soap collector! I journal the soaps, i use them until they disappear into nothing and sob as they leave my world hoping that some day they will be recreated. I just love your creations! :))

Well done! The color combo and spoon-texturing here remind me of that 90s "jazz" drink cup pattern. 😊
That purple is LIFE 🙌🏼💜💜💜
I’m going through a rough time right now. This video, especially the music instantly calmed me down. Very reassuring. Thank you
Thank you so much ☺️ I’m glad it helped you 💗
If you like the beat you should check out the song star shopping by lil peep , that’s where it came from . Such a pretty song
So pretty! I'm loving that color combination, and the purple specks in the white layer 😍 Your soaps are always so smooth and buttery! Just looking at them makes my skin happy!
I love the speckles in the middle section!
I purchased some of this soap and loved it! It smelled so refreshing!
I love the smell of lavender and sage. I must try this!
😱🤯
Sounds like the most expensive soap ever made... I want all the scents!
I love the patient’s you have with your soaps.
Beautiful soap as always. The colors are stunning, and when you added the purple beads I thought what on earth is that going to do, but when you cut that soap and you could see them and that layer absolutely beautiful!
The texturing is everything
Very pretty, lovely colors. I love watching you work, 😊 very relaxing!
Beautiful...and really enjoy the music while watching you create
Amazing. Even just emulsifying mine would set up in the 2nd and 3rd jug.
You need to do slow motion close ups of it pouring into those divots. So satisfying to watch!
That's a very beautiful and creative technique. Beautiful soap and blend of colors
That color combination is killer. Beautiful turnout. I really love your music choice.
It is so relaxing watching you make this soap I really enjoyed this video
Thank you ☺️
Sooo soothing to watch! I could watch you make soap all day!😍 Love the colors!
I just made me a batch of Lavender Sage! Can't beat Purple Vibrance but I never thought to mix it with any other purple. I love your color sense!
I would love a studio tour video.
90's Jazz Cup soap! I love it!
How do you come up with your luscious color combinations? And match them to the fragrance? Always such a delight to the eyes (and the nose...)!

These are incredibly relaxing to fall asleep to.
They look like my wedding colors after they've sat.
That would of been nice to give gifts of soup to your guests
Definitely going to try the heat transfer method next time I make soap
Omg this music is amazing omg what are all the songs used???? This video is so relaxing from the soap to music!
Listen to star shopping by lil peep than the first melody is from that song
Cameron Spankuch the first one sounds like lil peep star shopping remix
This was relaxing to watch, beautiful work 😊
How do you manage to keep your soap so liquid when the same soap already in the mold is firm?? Do you remix it every minute ?
I mix as little as possible in the beginning. When I pour each layer I will blend it extra so it will thicken up faster and by the time I do the next layer it is pretty solid :)
Beautiful as always as well as the music.
Your work is exactly impressed me ...gorgeous
That’s amazing especially the colors I love it
Beautiful as always!

i wish you would have added a mica glitter layer on top but its beautiful like always anyways!!
Beautiful soap. I love the soap cutter. Which brand is it?
It’s from Buds wood shop on Etsy :)
Such a pretty color combination 😍. Do the jojoba beads add exfoliation also? I've seen them online, but never really thought about them.
So satisfying

Yes I do :)
Was that just cold cocoa butter mixed with the lye solution? Then you added more oil? It is different.
Nice job.
I pour the lye water solution over all my hard oils and butters. Cocoa butter, Shea butter and coconut oil.
your video is always so nice!!
Hi! I have some great smelling Jojoba oil infused with Frankincense and Myrrh resin. Can I buy a loaf of unscented cold pressed soap, melt it and add the Jojoba infused oil, then pour it back in a mold to harden again? Thank you for your time and input.
I don’t believe you can. You can use melt and pour :)
Wow, that is truly mesmerizing...
Hi, could you tell me where do you buy the fragrance? I have been using essential oils but it cost me a lot of many for the quantity I have to put in the soap. Thank you for your fantastic videos!
I understand that! I get all my fragrances from Nature’s Garden :)
Hermosisimos colores...y facil de lograr..gracias

Sure :)
Can you please tell me what that music is? It was so relaxing! And the soaps were lovely :)
I use a few difference songs per video. I’m not sure the artists. It’s songs from UA-cam list of music we can use.
Lil Peep - Star Shopping (Original song)
Beautiful!😊
Would love to try making this but not sure on where to buy all these wonderful products!
Check the video description. She has her sources there.
Beautiful
That's so pretty 😍
What is your favorite stick blender? I love the pattern yours makes 😂
I’m still on the hunt 😆
I’m using an All Clad at the moment. I really like it but the shaft broke and will not detach 😂 but at least it still works!
Hi,
I just started watching your channel. I’m just curious how the heat transfer method works? Do you heat the lye? I just started making soap for my family so I’m still learning. Thx
When you add lye to water it heats up to over 200°. :)
@@OpheliasSoapery after it reaches 200°, do you let it sit for a while or do you just get to Soaping?
Beautiful thank you for sharing
How cool would that purple look with clear glycerin soap over it

UA-cam’s audio library :)

I'd love to be able to make this....
I like the lavender
What song is the first one
Looks like a beautiful product! 💜 lavender. Do you sell to the public?
Yes. This soap has long been sold out but I just released new soaps on Friday. www.opheliassoapery.com
@@OpheliasSoapery TY I'll check it out! ( rose and lavender accents are my favorite)
looks delicious

Where did you get that large mixing container. I'm a soap maker.
Local restaurant supply store. But they also sell them at Webstaurant.com. I think I linked them in the description box.
Thank you so much. I found the on walmart.com. Rubbermaid Commercial space savers. I am familiar with webstaurant. I purchased one on Ebay. 8.00 it was new. Thanks
Forbidden fudge!
Beautiful. How do you not get soda ash? That's my only problem when I soap.
I’ve actually been getting it recently. If I don’t have any botanicals on the soap I’ll wash the top while it’s in the mold. And let it dry before I cut it.

spritzing with 99% alcohol helps keep soda ash from forming on top. It works!
