This is a video going over all the weapon kits we know so far for Splatoon 3. This is all speculation and subject to change, but I wanted to go over the kits we saw and see how they might fit.

The Hydra having Killer Wail may not actually be that obvious
At one point in the trailer the bow user turns from yellow to purple, so it means that the trailer showed more than one match
Damn I didn’t realise that when making the thread. That being said chances are it still would either be hydra or blaster as one would be cut from the rest of the trailer.
Rewatched the clip. Yeah it’s hydra, you can still see the hydra next to the bow on the purple team with no vBlaster on the teamwhich means it’s the hydra using the Wail.

It's so surreal coming back to videos like this and seeing how things changed
I mentioned earlier that the Splat Charger appears to have Splat Bomb. The shot you point out in the trailer in argument of the .96 gal having the bomb is at 50 seconds. However, at 20 seconds into the trailer, you can see another Splat Bomb coming from the charger's position. You can even see the long ink trails of charger shots on the ground below it, coming from its trajectory. I am very sure the Splat Charger has the Splat Bomb. (I also don't think charger was out of throwing range of the bridge, but idk)

This is the most terribly aged video I've ever seen in my life WOW, like, Burst Undercover? Zip Splash? Splat Bomb 96? Zooka Tri Stringer? Wail Range? MISSILE E LITER? what on earth happened in development for them to change every single kit before release?
The kits were actually changed around the time vac was introduced
I'm so disappointed that none of this good kits actually happened. The Neo-splash was just released and no Zipcaster on it, sad.
E-liter having tenta missiles or some form of it is very interesting. It could be completely useless or meta breaking depending on how the missiles work in Splat3
Nintendo finally gets that backliner need backliner specials we should never get a hydra with a front line special ever again
Indeed, Let alone a front line special that is nothing more than a nerfing tool.
Always interesting to see the kits change from reveal to release. Still weirds me out that vanilla splat dualies kit was changed, but the enperries has the kit the weapon used to have??? Always seemed rather pointless to me, but not like it makes that big a difference either.

Splattershot was correct
Clash Blaster has Splat Bomb/Trizooka not Splat Bomb/Crab Tank
.96 Gal has Sprinkler/Ink Vac not Splat Bomb/unknown
Splat Roller was correct
Range Blaster has Suction Bomb/Wave Breaker not unknown/Killer Wail 5.1
Sloshing Machine has Fizzy Bomb/Booyah Bomb not unknown/Killer Wail 5.1
E-liter 4K has Ink Mine/Wave Breaker not Burst Bomb/Tenta Missiles
Tri-Stringer (Splat Bow) has Toxic Mist/Killer Wail 5.1 not unknown/Trizooka
Undercover Brella has Ink Mine/Reefslider not Burst Bomb/unknown
Hydra Splatling has Autobomb/Booyah Bomb not unknown/Killer Wail 5.1

I really hope the only wepons to get missiles are chargers I think it fits their kits while making it less annoying

seeing this made me realise how much us tri stringer players got robbed, they were gonna give us zooka and charge holds in ink ;-;
As a stringer player, the bomblets, mist, and wail are so fun though!

Unfortunatly almost none of these kits happened, which is disappointing. As a stringer main, I would've loved Tri-Zooka on it
As a Vanilla Roller main, gonna be honest it feels nice knowing I can finally ditch Splashdown
i was already excited for sp3 because of no charger laser but now you're telling me my favourite weapon might also have missiles, my favourite special? i might rush to the eliter unlock then never pick any other weapon, ESPECIALLY if they give me water balloons too

kit ideas i want for my main weopons is
slosher,like the first game i want it to have burst bomb because it was such a solid combo and the special i feel like the crab would be good because it compliments the way a slosher works which is built for makeing space
under cover brella, just to increase its splat zone power i think it should have land mines and the shield bubble which would make it one of the vest splat zone holders
foil roller, wall and crab because the foil is one of the more vulnrable weopons once it tryes attacking so have not one but two panic buttons makes it a more survivable weopon instead of a get two kills and die weopon
splatterscope, burst bomb and killer wail would make it easy to defend yourself and backup your teamates
finally gold dynamo,splat bomb and bubble because splat bomb has always been good with dynamo and adding the bubble would make it to where you could make as much space as possible with a dynamo
I still don’t get why chargers don’t have that laser anymore
Great analysis on the kits Chara. One thing I am worried about that I don't think many people really talk about is whether the player with a crab tank special starts out in ball form on activation like a baller, or in tank mode with their gunners out like an inkjet. It may at first seem like a "who cares" thing, but this is actually very crucial information to know, as if the player activates in ball form first, then there's a potential worry that the crab tank can also be used as a sort of panic button like baller would of being able to roll away. Of course, with this comes the question of whether the player is actually shielded in ball form with some armor, or still has 100HP to work with, to which in this case, I assume the player has some protection while rolling. If the player is vulnerable from the get go then this isn't of course a worry. Just a little further analysis on my end guys.
I can't believe that there's only one curling bomb roller in splat2
For all of the rollers in 2, none of the share subs or specials except two of them have splat bomb.

6:47 Just to point out, during the part of the trailer that showed off the Big Bubbler, a Splat Bomb came in from offscreen, and since both the Undercover and Gloogas were on screen, and we already know the Splash has Burst Bomb, the Splat Bomb must have came from the bow.

I was combing through the trailer and we can also see that the Splat Bow has Splat Bomb. On the left side of the screen, right after the range blaster user does squid surge, right before the scene cuts, we can see a splat bomb right in front of the Splat Bow user.
Also, I found that Glooga has Splat Bomb as well. If you look at the Big Bubbler Scene, we can see a bomb hit the shield, then the Glooga player walk on screen from where the bomb was thrown.
All of the weapons they showcased wail with got booyah except range with wave...

This video aged poorly. No hate on it, this just shows how nintendo still has there ways to hide info they don't want out.
I actually love all of these kits. BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY FIT THE WEAPON ROLE. Or at least cover their weakness like crab tank for clash and bomb for 96.

The E-Liter is my favorite weapon and I've ALWAYS wanted it to have Tenta Missiles because I knew it'd be PERFECT! When I saw that the E-Liter might have Tenta Missiles I was super hopeful! The Ink Storm and Ink Mines are great and what I usually use but the Bubble Blower on E-Liter is sadly lackluster because the E-Liter takes so long to charge all your bubbles would of been popped by the enemy before you'd even get close to blowing them up. And WHOEVER gave the E-Liter SQUID BEACON is THE DUMBEST PERSON EVER!!! Hey, you know that really slow backline weapon? How about we give it a sub meant for fast frontliners who are supposed to set them up at front? Then the E-Liter has to either 1.Never use it or 2.Rush ahead probably dieing from all the enemy's while trying to place them. And if they don't die they'll need to backtrack super far to get back into a proper sniping position. And everytime they need to put down more Beacons they'll need to run back to the FRONTLINES!!! My MAJOR problem with the E-Liter is that neither subs help chase of jerks camping them at the base of a wall where they can't snipe. Ink Storm can kind of chase them off but that's your only hope! Because of this E-Liters who have teammates who refuse to help get CONSTANTLY spawn camped without ANY WAY of chasing them off. Let's take these two very slow backline weapons and give them NO bombs to help so they'll always be spawn camped or have players spamming bomb from the base of the wall and they'll have NO defense to help! This bull is why Tenta Missiles are perfect for E-Liter! They help chase off players for enough time to actually fight back and you can sit atop your sniping perch of choice doing your job from the far back while charging and firing missiles to help even further more your teammates on the frontlines! Tenta Missiles is exactly what the E-Liter needed. And a bomb to throw for actual defense would be nice too. I pray to the mighty Splatoon gods to please keep the Tenta Missiles on the E-Liter!

potentially but if its not used its less concrete, the other issue is subs could have changed how much they use or new subs use that amount that we dont know exist

All the kits are good and on the vanilla variation because custom kits are being tested (or is already chosen as the new game direction).
My splash gets aggressive kits! YES!
Not sure about bubbler on the roller it could just be corocoro and vflingza again... But everything else looks great

Suctions are not seen in the trailer. if they are then cool but i analysed my ass off that trailer for info and only found 3 types of bombs

I feel like I may not be the only one with this question, but why aren't there more Tentatek weapons? Like, wouldn't it make sense? We have the Kensa line, the Sheldon's Picks, Neo variants, Nouveaux variants and other smaller "brands" or whatever. Why not have more weapons of the same "brand"? Wouldn't that make sense?
