Quick weather briefing before your next flight

This is a quick video about how I check my weather before each local flight, wether that is in the traffic pattern or a local area Flight. One thing I forgot to add is to check the prognostic charts on ForeFlight. It’s a great idea of how the weather patterns are progressing.

I know this video is a couple years old, but I'm looking for a used iPad to install ForeFlight on and was wondering what models do you recommend and does the iPad require a cellular chip? Also, do you happen to know how to connect an iPad to an ADS-B? Thanks and I enjoy the videos!!

I buy the iPad mini’s. Right now I have the mini 4. And ya you need the model with the cellular chip for the IPAD to show your location on the maps. Yet ive never purchased a cellular data plan for weather info to show up. And I connect my iPad to either a hand held ADSB-in receiver like a stratus or a Sentry unit. But our airplanes the ADS-B receiver is built in to the plane’s Transponder. I hope this helps!
