The amount of work that you've just done for people is nuts. You just raised the bar for editors. Soon, you'll be the reason why most of the community starts to do 3D edits.
I don't watched the whole video, but I'm glad that there is a people like you. You open a magic portal to editing that only few people know. Thanks for your time and efforts that you made
Was watching through my favourite edits, the noticed Nikky had linked your vid so I started watching your comparison. I then went down to the comments and found this video! I love you for actually making one of these videos, since a lot of people are wondering how to do it, im too lazy though hahaha Great vid anyway, keep it up
This showed me everything I needed to know. I really like her videos (except the slow-mo for *every* kill) but had no idea where to start. Since I literally own all the programs you mentioned I might make an amateur version using your links, Thanks! Pls don't delete and block.
Also keep in mind alot of these...REALLY detailed scenes from each map are just THAT PORTION of the map, 90% of the rest of the map off screen is deleted except what is needed for the shot.. so if the scene is on Mirage B site... then Palace, mid, spawns, A site and all other places are just deleted.
Thanks so much dude! The clarifications are gonna help! Lol this is going to take a very, very long time to learn. Weapon animations are definitely the most time consuming, well, seems like it.
Hello everyone, a few things since this video is getting lots of recognition again even though it is more than a year old: 1) The required programs are for one specific workflow, however, other program combinations are possible. Every second comment is about how expensive Cinema4D is, so I am just gonna tell you that creating a 3D edit without C4D (or Maya) is very possible. Depends a lot on what you want to acchieve in the end. 2) Some parts are outdated. Apparantly, HammUEr is gone. I advise everyone who seriously wants to commit himself to do 3D edits to join communities such as T3C, the agr tech support or others, when it comes to problems such as that. Especially exported and polished maps are out there already. I updated some small parts of the description. 3) I don't accept friendship requests on Steam anymore (I mean, I do, but I don't have the time to help anyone), if you got urgent/specific problems hit me up on Discord: Mittwoch#8760 Any kind of general question you can also post under this comment. And yes, I know I have a strong accent :D
Echt gutes Video, auch super, dass du dich noch ein Jahr später drum kümmerst, das alles geht! Seien wir mal ehrlich, die meisten benutzen doch eh Cracks ;)
Was really inspired by the content ive been seeing in regards to edits and i am gonna really try hard to learn how to do this. thank for the vid. really good for entry level explanations :)
How many hours does each part take to do on average? - Recording the 4 parts - Exporting maps, guns, characters & animations - Editing textures, animations, models & new elements
Recording can be done really fast with some exercise, takes under an hour if the frags aren't complex and your pc is okay exporting takes like a few hours I guess depending on what mistakes you need to fix (weapon animations are bugged) but you only need to do it once and then can reuse it editing can take months lol. its a creative process and i cant answer that part :D chekc out fuze's stream to see the workflow, its slow af
I've had "If You Were to Get What You Deserve, You Would Know What the Bottom of a Tire Tastes Like" stuck in my head all day and for some reason it's in the background 🤠🤠
The tutorial:"The focus should lay on your 3d work and not on some RGB splits and twitch effects" My last video :"The focus should lay on -your 3d work and not on- some RGB splits and twitch effects
wow this video is like the Realvision ENB Modding Guide for Skyrim. It provides you with the ressources to create a nice 3D edit, but requires from you to watch and follow the tutorial yourself. This is a good stepping stone to begin 3D editing. 5:44 But how do you combine particle effects like a thunderstorm or smoke with unreal engine? Do you render it inside Cinema4D with the exported agr cam from Blender and rotoscope it inside AE? Or do you create a high quality flipboard animation and play it inside Unreal Engine? (Unreal Engine's own particle system Cascade isn't capaple of creating that many particles)
Tbh, I am not sure what the best way is to use the thunderstorm in UE4, but I would just take the "edited" map and agr from UE4 and then import it to Blender, create the thunderstorm and render that sequence inside C4D, if you cant import the thunderstorm back to UE4. Maybe I made a bad example with that thunderstorm, because it probably isn't really possible if you don't edit with C4D or Maya (which have good particle systems and plugins). NikkyyHD made her whole edit in Maya, that's why her VFX are so advanced, compared to Fuze or Maro.
hmm, i'm wondering how fuze did the "smoke-ragdolls" in Nevermore on Assault(1:28 in his video). They react with the wall and have bloom. By watching the clips of his twitch-channel, i learned that Fuze definitely did his muzzle flashes and other smaller clouds as particlesystems inside ue4, but with these bigger ones i'm still not sure.
For step 2 both videos are private, and for the programs GCFScape and VTFEdit are forbidden websites. The Crowbar site is saying it cant be reached. Please help
Ty for this video! It will take the time that it will take, but i'll try to make one myself...Nevermore 2 took more than one year i assume? I think mine will be ready in four years lmfao
Valve actually once thought of making l4d3 using unreal, but there were a disagreement so it was never made. Such a shame because valve makes great games and I would love to see wha pt could they do with unreal
