    Great explanation. I am torally sold but now have to decide which one!

      Boss does some good ones.
      Lehle makes the dual expression - my fav. Tons out there though to suite any rig / budget. YOu can even just get a small potentiometer in a tiny box and roll it with your foot!

    I wish there was something like the Source Audio Reflex that would give you more options

    Can I connect an expression pedal directly to an effects pedal? Or do I have to have an interface like the Strymon Timeline?

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  2 роки тому +1

      good question. you just have to have a pedal that has expression IN. Once you have that...you can connect to any ONE pedal OR over midi / with a Mission Engineering Expressionator you can connect to multiple pedals at once.

    I’m wondering how to setup an expression pedal with a midi baby 3 to work various Strymon pedals?

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  4 місяці тому

      I havent touched a midi baby in ages. I'd reach out to Disaster Area! They'd get you sorted really quickly.

    Thanks for sharing. I have this same pedal and was wondering if i could use this pedal to swell volume on a guitar?

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  Рік тому

      only if it's controlling a pedal with an expression input that ALSO has the ability to change signal level... This pedal by itself can't do guitar level / swells.

    Can I use it as a volume pedal with connected to effects with no expression IN?

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  2 роки тому +1

      unfortunately no. You coudl get a vertex Boost MKii though and connect an expression to that... then it's a boost / volume / bypass.

    Is it possible to create an input for expression pedal on octave pedals? Just to control the amount of sub octave and up octave effects like POG pedals

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  Рік тому

      I think this would be pretty tricky in an aftermarket setting... Ideally it would be built in on the pedal or you'd run the Pitch effect in parallel and you could externally control the amount of pitch in a parallel loop (with something like GFI Duophony or Wetter box etc.)

    Some concern about setting my exp pedal, as I set my digital delal mix control full at Toe, there was a blank space first before the mixed delay ouput comes out? How do I correctly set it?

    • @GoodwoodAudio
      @GoodwoodAudio  Рік тому

      Im not sure I understand fully what you mean. If you mean that when you have exp at 100% / full mix and you don't hear anything when you first play they guitar and THEN you hear the delay repeats...that's because your delay is on 100% wet. So instead of setting toe to be 100%, set it to be 85% or something in that area. Then you will still get some dry guitar as well as heavy delay mix.

    I can’t find a clear resource online to determine if a single pedal can control volume then switch to expression without re wiring 😬🤷🏽‍♂️.

      I don't know of any worth mentioning... none that I would trust at least. There are some workarounds but the best ways would require expression being connected to a midi controller and then your midi controller talking to pedals on your board.

    What is a good product to have one expression pedal be able to control multiple pedals?

      Check out the Mission Engineering Expressionator. One of my faves.
