Really great and clear explanation! I've continued to be more and more impressed with the iridium as a core part of my rig! Strymon sure seems to have added a ton of great and thoughtful features. I use volume both pre and post as part of volume swells in ambient worship settings. Different flavors to be sure, but both very useful. Great stuff! Keep up the great videos!

Excellent video, thanks. Quick review for people who didn't catch on to the pre/post differences: Pre volume is like changing the volume on your guitar. Post volume is like changing the volume on your amp. Or pretty close to this.

Merry Christmas Rokz! I got an Iridium, pair of Kali Lone Pine LP-6 monitors, and a Scarlett 2i2 from my wife for Christmas. I'm new to the home recording game. Do I run the Iridium directly into my monitors or through the 2i2 and into the monitors? I'm used to just playing through my pedal board directly into my Marshall. Thanks!

Merry Christmas to you!!! If the Scarlett can pass audio without your recording software being open then I'd run it through the Scarlett. This way if you have an idea you can just open the recording app and press record. I have mine plugged into my Eleven Rack that passes audio without ProTools being opened.
