I had no idea that the cage would be that affordable. Always wanted to kind of get into photography and I think this video has been my ultimate Segway. Thank you
I have tried probably every cage on the market and the Neewer cage is the best. I even have a BeastGrip which I imported to UK and really do not enjoy using it as it is like a tank and not very well designed.
@@davidpowerfns I am not sure as I film normally in ProRes HQ or sta=ndard all day and have never had the need of a battery pack as my internal battery seems to hold out OK. I do very occasionally charge the phone at lunchtime with a power bank if I know I am going to shoot a lot in the afternoon but not normally. I also never use an external SSD as I have 1TB on the phone which is enough for a lot of shots including interviews. What I have however bough recently is a 2TB SSK USB stick. This transfers very fast from the phone if I did need to free space.
I have had the old cage from new and never had an issue with the cage lock. My iPhone is in that cage permanently. Shame they don’t do rubber inserts for the cold shoe mounts as they do catch and scratch hands most of the time. I made a couple out of balsa wood to stop being scratched. Thanks for sharing
I want to know what's back there too. You said they make a case too? I'd like the cage to protect the back of the phone, but does not look like this cage would work with any case on your phone. (But you obviously have SOMETHING on there? What is it?)
do you think thats 18mm lense worth to buy instead using the 13mm in the native iphone? I need it for real state videos, but not sure if i should keep using the 13mm..
well for my taste the 13mm sometimes is a bit too wide and optically sometimes also not the best especially if its getting dark or lighting is not the best... the 13mm is a good wide-angle but is not as distorted
Great insight - just ordered mine! Question though - you mention that the mag safe SSD works with the lens adapter you have on, does it also work with the 67mm filter adapter? Thanks!
I chosen Neewer cage and first of all... doesn't fit to Freewell lenses... T-mount is different between suppliers, additionally is very delicated and is easy to scrach this cage... Anybody knows what other than Neewer anamorphic lens fit to this T-mount apart from Freewell?

hi there. is it true you can't fit a magsafe power bank while using ND filters? thx

Hey. Which screen protector are you using? I find that the ones I use show up on camera and give me a weird oily look.
What skin dis you use? Im looking forward to buying a skin but im afraid it would not fit in the cage. Whats the thickness of those?
I`d love to see an in depht review of the lens!

They have a case now
@ ??? It’s a metal cage I’m talking about nothing to do with a case, they had one before as well as the cage.
Does a 67mm filter support both magnetic and screw-in mounting methods? Also, is it compatible with lenses from other brands?
Looking for same ans
same question. did you find out?
bro what is the name of the back cover protection ?
One question: what is the cover on the back of the iphone?
Same question here, anyone knows?

how good is the 18mm compared with the 13mm native lense in the iphone 15 pro max? the iphone is more wide?

well for real state 13mm might be the better choice ... especially since the video stabilisation works really great with the 13mm
@@MichaelSchmidt_UrbnPxl with the lenses 18mm stabilization not work pretty well ?

also my question 🤓
i don't think so. ua-cam.com/video/apn0rpTjSw4/v-deo.html
Normal circular filter mount for this adapter filter 67mm?
I did my first unboxing video( newbie) with this cage. I’m enjoying it. Would’ve loved for NEEWER to have sent it to me

hi there. is it true you can't fit a magsafe power bank while using ND filters? thx
@@davidpowerfns Yes, after mounting filters there is no space to attach standard powebank with magsafe
@@addeo8997Thx for reply. That's a bit silly, isn't it?
Do you have some kind of case on the phone that you can fit together with the phone inside the cage?
I also found this cage to be incredibly delicate. Without much effort it is easily marked and scratched which is a shame for a promising product.
Sir can we use it in i phone 15?
hey there, thx for the vid.
Is it true that with the ND filter it's impossible to use a magsafe charger?
Yes. The 67mm filters block the top of the magnet. Smaller filter mounts would make so much more sense
@@jamerewaddy2435 that's a shame. do you know if there are any magsafe chargers that are shorter and do fit?
Wish they had a 16mm lens.
yeah that would be a nice focal length
