I'd love to see you guys try out 'Putt-Putt Travels Through Time.' It's a bit more mechanically complicated, and as the name suggests the plot gets pretty crazy.
did anyone else's childhood consist of hours of playing Zoo Tycoon? all my friends played Rollercoaster Tycoon, but I was stuck trying to make a five star zoo. the process of finally getting five stars, decorating your zoo to look it's nicest, and then finally getting bored enough to release all the animals and watch your ratings plummet. i remember when the complete collection came out I spent my days at school just WAITING to get back home to play with the dinosaurs and the aquatic animals. what a great time that was.
I grew up on Zoo Tycoon! Played the absolute hell out of it; my zoo wasn’t very optimal since I was a dumb kid and didn’t realize I needed to sell baby animals, so I’d end up with enclosures filled with like, 30+ animals, lol. Besides that though (and totally not caring about planting flowers/trees and making things look extra nice cause why should I worry about that stuff?), I always did really well and knew how to create the perfect enclosure for each animal. However, when the sequel came out and we bought it, apparently it couldn’t run on our computer for some odd reason. Child me was devastated. Then I grew up, and adult me discovered the art of emulation. It took about 20 years, but I was finally able to play Zoo Tycoon in all of its expanded glory :D
Sadly, they missed my favorite line, if you stick around the hippo dad for a while, eventually he says "Woe sure as heck is me!" And for whatever reason, the rest of my family and I have always found that hilarious, in fact it's still commonly quoted among my siblings to this day.

I remember this from my childhood so much that I didn't realize it came out in the 90s before I was born, but I happened to have the games and play them a lot still. I'd love to see more!
Lee Daniel, most birds can make super complicated seeming complicated noises because their 'lips' are in their throat! They have much different and more complex vocal boxes (their syrinx) than humans that they have a lot of control over. Some can even produce two sounds at once.
6:35 Dan says you can't finish King's Quest IV if you eat the fruit. You absolutely can, you get back to Daventry in time to see your dad die of his illness, but it still ends. You'll get a similar scene if you go through the entire Lolotte/Genesta plotline and forget about the fruit.
That’s fucking awful lmao 😂 I couldn’t imagine going through all that and going back to Graham just to be like “Sorry Dad, got a little peckish on my hike.”
Yeah some Sierra games had multiple ways to finish the game. Like how in Black Caludron you can end the game early by just jumping into the cauldron yourself and dying.
@@GoetiaTV I know that people weren’t a huge fan of Arin on Space Quest 5 because he’s ADD and impatient as hell and these games can feel slow when you’re in the passenger seat… but his added voice acting and banter with Dan made that playthrough great. Please play more old school point and clicks like this. I'd love to see another Sam and Max game played on the channel.
As an australian, I love that Arin knows the kookaburra = jungle noise trivia, but also simultaneously die a little inside when I American's pronounce Kookaburra like that
Please more HE games, please. I haven't tuned into game grumps for a while now but these were my childhood.
Hey Dan, the reason Laughing kookaburra can do those amazing sounds is a special vocal organ called the tracheo-bronchial syrinx, which creates two sources of vibrations so it can produce two frequencies at the same time with multiple harmonics.
Ive never caught a new episode so quickly
For real, watching y'all play point and click adventure games is just so much fun to watch. Would love for more of these!
Fatty the Bear @19:55 :P
there was also Freddie fish in the shrubbery song
So many flashbacks to painting PuttPutt every available color multiple times
Puttputt is my spirit animal when they zoom away from the distressed parents
Please play Pajama Sam too. No need to hide when its dark outside was my childhood. also putt putt travels through time (the jingle for that is etched in my head forever)
I can't help but get flashbacks to Arin, Ross, and Barry playing Freddi Fish watching Arin and Dan play this game...
...Also, please continue Pizza Tower.
I love how Dan referred back to King’s Quest IV with Rosella eating the fruit she was trying to find for her father, King Graham.
I love all the King’s Quest and Space Quest games played by Game Grumps/Steam Train and I watch-listen to them while working since they’re very relaxing!
Use me as a “Please complete the rest
of the series Putt-Putt series” button
Would absolutely love more of the Humongous Entertainment games. My personal favorite series is Spy Fox!!
I also have always wanted to send you guys “I can be an Animal Doctor”. Loved that game. Thanks for bringing smiles to our nostalgic hearts
I love how even in this colorful children's game, Arin can't hold an attention span for 5 seconds. The urge to click dumb shit is too strong!
Clicking everything is an important part of playing these games! Gotta see all the silly animations and whatnot
I remember my own Kookaburra realization moment after thinking it was a monkey myself. Glad to hear Dan is finally based and Kookaburrapilled
If you guys play more Humongous Entertainment, games like Pajama, Sam, Spy, Fox, Freddie the Fish, etc. I will promise you that for the remainder of the year I won’t watch Game Grumps with AdBlock. Thank you for playing and letting me relive my childhood, this was some wholesome goodness.
I like that at 7:18 Arin starts to sing and Dan starts to sing with him. They singing voices are sooo good
One of my favorite things to do in this game growing up was taking sad pictures of the parents and kids before they were rescued
Putt Putt Travels Through Time is the Empire Strikes Back of Putt Putt games
