The best phone. The size, it's very fast. Battery is really good. Got the 256 snapdragon version. Very very happy with my purchase.
Lucky, her in Europe we have Exynos :( 😢
I am an Ultra user ever since the Note20 Ultra, and I have the S24 Ultra, but I am a bit salty that Samsung only maxed the S24 at 256GB. It's a flagship phone, and I don't think bigger storage needs bigger physical space.
Probably not good to be storing too much data on a device that is at high risk of loss, theft, damage. Lots of storage tends to encourage sloppy curation and file management
@@kierenkd yeah, that's the reason why Samsung did that 🤦♂️
Yeah, aside from the Ultra and maybe the Plus, the base S24 doesn't even feel like a flagship with those memory configurations. Even midrangers offer more ram and storage two times cheaper
I have an S24 with 512 GB of internal storage. I am in Indonesia.
You can purchase S24 with 512GB in Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, probably just not the US and some markets where they want to push people to get S24+ and Ultra?
Just got the S24. Upgraded from S22 ultra. Form factor super refreshing and this thing is lightning quick. Highly recommend!!!
the colour is gorgeous!
Great review! Also, "why do people buy tablets anymore?" Sir im watching on my 14.6" tab s9 ultra.
Me too.
@seanriley6911 sometimes it can be too massive but other times I cannot imagine it not being this massive lol
That's not an answer to the question tho
Watching on my note 9 right now lol
watching on a galaxy tab s8
Good video, I got the S24+ and love it, couldn't go back to an ordinary- smaller sized phone now but the S24 is a great deal and will definitely be worth it for some people.
I bought the S24 regular. Coming from a iPhone 13 mini I feel that the screen real estate is more than enough for me. I live in a region where the S24 comes with Exynos 2400 but I feel it's more than fast enough and the battery last for a full day often more. I love this little phone.
Currently using S23 is fantastic device. I like Dex and use a lot on my android TV, Dex simply more powerful than normal smart TV, Dex also can turn hotel TV or any monitors to my personal smart TV😅 I'm sure S24 will be a really great phone too 😆
Great video love the explanation of why you feel it's such a good phone not like some of these fake UA-camrs who just state their opinion as though it's fact and do not show their thinking or reasoning for their opinion. I have to agree Samsung really hit a home run with the s24 series this year. Whatever your needs or reason for getting an s24 series this year Samsung did a really good job making you feel like your not missing out if you didn't get the Ultra this year.
I brought a regular S24, because all the reasons you mentioned. I love how small, powerfull, and the battery life is unbelievably good. Im really satisfied with my purchase!
Yes but i wanna ask can i watch movies on that small size phone
@@mvm1322 Sure, yes.
@@mvm1322
yes, you can?
6.2 inch screen is not really that small of a screen.
@mvm1322 it isn't small, just smaller. The larger phones don't even display movies at a proper ratio because they're either stretched to fill the screen, or don't fill the screen. So larger phones are useless for movies.
Buy a TV for movies lol
I absolutely love my S24. Got mine at usd 869 for the 256 GB bundled with Galaxy Watch 6. Thought it was a good deal.
You have exynos version? How is battery doing during a full day?
I have one and I love it! You did a great review BTW!
Great review! I've been plodding along with an A13 and got to the point where an upgrade was needed, but I was a bit overwhelmed with all the options. Your review highlighted all the features that are important to me and made me feel reassured about my selection. Can't wait for my new S24 to arrive tomorrow!
Same. I have the A13 5g for my first phone, and it's fine, but for things like gaming or taking pictures or just how quick the phone is it kinda lacks, but I can't complain about it for being a budget phone. I plan on getting the s24 and hope it can fulfill my expectations in a month!
I think you're the smoothest person to showcase a phone I've seen on UA-cam. I subscribed instantly
I love it ! But I purchased at my phone store and would have loved to have this color that only can be purchased directly from Samsung.
Not sure of where you're from but I purchased my orange 🧡🍊 S24U at the store Samsung store that is. We only have one in Houston though.
I bought my wife the S24 with 256 GB, the screen is huge and bright for a small phone; she loves it. She has a tablet for bigger screen activities.
Upgraded from a Samsung galaxy j7v to the s24 and the one thing that really surprised me is when you look at the screen at an angle, it gets a blue tint to it. Also, the transfer of apps and files was a little tedious.
Thanks for helping with making decision. 👌
Hi there, I have to ask why you switched from the iPhone to the Samsung? I'm on the fence all the time because I'm sick of being locked in but have fear I will miss out on the IOS things I've grown accustomed to. I'm at a crossroad as I need to purchase a new laptop and I am trying to decide which direction, I've been using Apple for years. Any advice? Also on a side note and I could be totally wrong but I swear I saw you at Weis in Havre de Grace. Any input wold be greatly appreciated, I really enjoy the videos you put out!
ios = prison , android = free my my friend!!! try it
Man, I remember when you said you would never use a Samsung. Like 2 years ago lol

Does the regular s24 have the AI features that the ultra does? I'm currently using the s22ultra, I find myself not using half of the ultra features. Talking and texting is pretty standard on all phones, what i look for most in a flagship phone is the camera. When taking photo and video i find myself grabbing my cell phone because its always with me. I own dji, gopro, insta360, but those cameras are usually home on the shelf. Im not a pro camera man, but i take decent photos and videos. Would i be disappointed upgrading to the s24r? Should i just be satisfied with what i have?
Keep your 22 ultra and upgrade next year
You will be satisfied with it it's a great phone the AI features work in the base model as well
Try to sell your s22 and buy a used (just like new) s23 this one got a better chipset and it will get the AI features of the s24😊
My s22ultra has been having issues lately. Love the phone but not getting all my notifications and calls. Had to reset twice and it's still doing it. Looking into a s24 because I too don't use half the features.
liked your reviews about the s24, no regrets in buying one
"You should buy this, but I will continue to buy iPhones"
they prob have bills to pay for this content to exist
Ok enjoy being scammed
😂😂😂😂do what you want but i would feel really stupid buying a phone with 60hz display which still costs more than the s24, and doesnt even have an AOD, fast charging, old processor and not even 30x zoom. good luck 😂
He will always be an Apple fanboy. Even though I appreciate what Samsung does, I will still always buy iPhones. They just work better and easier for me. I don’t need a phone to customize
@@RyansTechReviews29 broda samsung is not only for custumization there are so many usefull features which youre missing out on, but of course you dont know about them if you dont try it out
How long can s24 last? I currently using my ip11max 5 years already. So can u guaranteed s24 can last 5 year too?
U deserve a million subscribers ❤
I just ordered one for £329 with an S10 trade in. The 7 year security updates now offered are a big selling point.
The phone looks great! If Apple allowed their full suite of software on Android I would definitely be getting some S24 model.
It’s not a question of simply allowing, that’s not how software developing works. Software developers have to make their programs compatible with every phone, apple has only a few phones in their lineup and their layout is almost the same so it’s easier to develop software compatible for all their phones. There are literally thousands of different android phones all with different uis and skins on top of the android operating system
@@MrBrandonLau I understand that. Using the word allowed was more short hand for creating Android versions of their software and also referred to Apple's business ethos was retaining the majority of their first party applications for exclusive use with their hardware.
It feels and looks just like the new phones. It's crazy just got one yesterday. Why doesn't samsung have the same camera apple uses ?
Totally agree with you. The ultra series is sure maxed out on cameras and has a stylus, but I personally prefer the size of S24, pixel 8. That's the max size of phone I like. I bought the s23U thinking that I might get used to it, but no, it's a brick, and for some reason, all the flagships have 6.7" or above display size.
That college joke and i am old comment sold me. Subscribed XD
Are you going to get a Apple Vision Pro, and do you need a monitor to use your Mac mini with it. They should they took the monitor off a Mac book, and it still works with the the Vision Pro. And only one person talk about how great it is to make three D videos of memories and go back and see them and it felt like it was seeing it like the first time. To cool. Hope you are doing good.
If i can buy the S24+ for only 60 euro more would you say go for the plus?
What’s the size compared to iPhone 11 ?
Is it weird I use a smaller iPhone 14pro out and about but I use my s23 ultra when at home for content consumption?
I was going to trade in my google P7P for this but decided not too. I prefer stock android. The Samsung UI tries to do to much IMO. The perfect size though..
What about the zoom cameras I have on my S23 Ultra? Can I get it from the S24?
Yessssss. My zoom is fantastic!
Here in India S24 is available with Exynos. Should I buy or not?
Damn, you make orange looks premium!
I would get this size but I like to draw on my trips into the office I wish they'd put the pen in the plus model. That color is 🔥
Love this color too
Will the CANADIAN variant work internationally ? Like the Philippines
I think so. I am from Canada, and my s22 ultra is an international model.
As a Galaxy S7 user, I've been seriously thinking about it, either this or the S23!!
Since you phone doesn't get supported with software updates i would recommend both.
They are both fantastic, if you have around 800$ go for 24, if not, the s23 is around 100 or 150$ cheaper. And s22 is also great.
I have a s10 myself and planning to upgrade to s24.
@@jaco502hvarhholm5 I think I'd prefer the S23's design as it's more rounded and slightly smaller, and the black is darker and less of a gray, however I'm still leaning towards the S24 mainly because of the 7 years of software updates. And, I can use a case anyway so I doubt its boxy design matters.
@@TheOnlyNameactually only the s24 ultra is boxy and a square, the normal s24 is around the same size and has rounded corners
What about this copper color?
If you guys planing to buy this buy the s24 256Gb variant it gives you UFS 4.0 Storage which is almost 3 times faster from UFS 3.1
S24 with exynos or Iphone 15 pro?
Thankfully this validates my order
If you need validation, you purchase the wrong product
From my perspective, being confident about a decision can often be a process that takes time and experience, plus might not think of any alternative to be so more sure of...
If anyone here knows how, please tell me. My S24 notifications are delayed, like they a lot of them just show up only when i unlock the phone. Some are instant, while others are delayed. I don't have any power savings mode on, i don't have do not disturb or any other routines on that will affect notifications. Lock screen notification are allowed to show all in the lock screen. I have turned battery optimization off(unrestricted) for the apps but they are still delayed until i unlock the phone, it's driving me insane and makes me want to go back to my iPhone. I really want to try out this phone and android in general but if they can't even get notifications right, than thats just sad. Anyways, if anyone knows any solution, please reply to this. Thank you!
Maybe restart the phone?
@@omairali2790 thank you to you and every other i.t guy that says have you restarted the device💀Bro I’ve been doing that, give me some real advice man
Is that a snapdragon or exynos variant?
I have s24 exynos wariant and this is a beast no overheating no lags better than s23 with snap
Realy ? You are the first one who say that@@Voltar78
just all around solid phone. hard to beat
I just bought An S24 (Exynos) EU version and waiting for the delivery. I am exited as I never owned a Samsung phone. I like it very much, just a little bit disappointed about the Exinos processor. This will replace a Pixel 6 and an iphobe 7(work) so mid-rangers. For sure S24 will feal more premium and snappy. I got a very good deal so I bought it cheap. I like as well the iphone 15 pro but that was double the money and I do not think is worthed. Also I I hate the Dinamic Island and the fact that the prlhobe is considered heavier. I will came back with a review once I will test the S24 a few days.
Prices are completely insane in Canada. $1099 for base model. Nuts.
I bought mine on amazon. $195 discount.
Will the Canadian variant work in the US ?
@@rocketserverCanadian version model is SM-S921W. check the bands if it's supported by your provider. Its not locked to a particular network.
@@rocketserver Honestly, have no idea. I’d assume it would since it’s unlocked.
Canadian model comes with a gen 3 snapdragon as compared to exynos 2400 on other regions.. Maybe that's why
Not hating but Looking at the home app layout doesn't look like this your daily phone, Watching on Samsung galaxy S23U
the only reason I still have my iPhone 13 is because I have a MacBook and a lot of my family uses apple, but I really want to make the switch to the 24 regular
Apple company has made IJAIL for it's apple customers.
Once you get inside IJAIL, It is impossible to break that jail.
We Android users are FREE.
Samsung makes nice phones but I'll stick with what I've got.
same. i'm still rocking my samsung s21+
to each their own can't wait to get this phone tho✌️
I've been watching your Android videos and wanting to switch to Android, but I simply can not leave my comfort zone. Maybe it's a good thing or a bad thing. I have no reason to switch to Android from iPhone, at least to the expensive Androids because the Redmi's, Xiaomi's, Nothing's of the Android side are more appealing because they actually are cheaper.
I think it's time to focus on more important stuff in my life than chasing every other phone release.
Samsung makes cheaper phones also

Small phone? Still rocking my iPhone 13 mini.
I have s 24+ and i love it its the best phone i ever had
I still have my s22
Yep, I live in rural America with no available lan line. DEX keeps me tied to samsung.
Im having problem deciding to buy the pixel 8 for only $499 or s24 for $750 ... Idk if those $250 are worthy..
If you do any gaming get the 24 and if you don't get the pixel. Pixel chip sucks ass for gaming, but it's fine for regular use.
@@johnm6275 no gaming ! Thanks man!! Really appreciate the help of an expert
I honestly don't think the Pixel 8 is a good buy. I can't trust Google to continue support with how it's treating the 8. You can buy an S23 at the same price as the 8.
As a long time Pixel fan, I finally decided to switch back to Samsung. Nothing but problems for me with Pixel for the past few years.
Just traded my S20 FE 128G on Samsung's website for the S24 256G Sandstone Orange plus a free Yeye Weller Case ($64.99) for $401.14 CAD tax and shipping included 😁
I returned the s24 as the selfie camera was so bad and the microphone was shocking, have a s24 ultra coming today. Should be better. Fingers crossed 🤞
They have the same selfie camera. How is your S24 Ultra?
@stephkm3655 it's not very different so yes I think your right. IPhone is so much better.
The camera isn't bad , that is just what you look like. Glad I could help!

Next year the base s25 will "apparently" have a 6.36inch screen. So less compact then 😮
Its PWM rate is low , so its bad for eyes right?
Yes, but PWM on Pixels, iPhones y pretty bad too, between 240Hz and 492Hz.
@@3lectronic0 yup , I like s23 and s24 but they have poor pwm
Mi 14 has 1920 PWN, so it's much better ???

i dislike they took the headphone socket and now the sd card. I may drop to the A55 or look elsewhere.
That color is 🔥
My problem is that I got this phone and a s24 plus for the same price and can't make up my mind on what one I want to keep. I have 3 days to decide what it's going to be and I'm thinking it will be the standard s24 as it's way easier to carry around, it's also a flipping fun phone to useand that can't be said about a lot of phone now a days.
I chose the s24 it's just more practical vs a 6.7 inch phone
It depends do you keep your phones a long time if that's the case keep the s24 plus The larger battery will enable you to run it longer before you have to have the battery changed and it also has 12 gigs of RAM so as more AI features come in the next few years it will be better able to handle them but if you're a person that changes phones every two years and you like a smallish phone keep the 24 regular
S24 is the first galaxy s series that feels better built and better materials than iPhone , they absolutely got the hardware right this times around

Faceid is main feature that i miss on android and my bank doesn't support gpay. I have no choice but to stick iphone. 😂
You're getting a lot more with the base S24 over the base iPhone 15. Unless you're a Apple fanboy and just love Apple's ecosystem and iOS then I see you picking the iPhone 15. But the Galaxy S24 price is justifiable for it's specs.
S24❤
They should've started the base storage for the S24 at 256 gigs and UFS 4.0 though. I don't know why they didn't do that. 128 gigs of storage just ain't enough.
exactly but obviously it's about you coughing up more money smh
I do wonder how people burn through so much memory like that though. What fills up 128gb so much for you?
Obviously everyone uses it for different purposes, but curious how you use so much storage?

Always prefer the smaller flagship.
I might have to trade this for the ultra cause i have Big hands no diddy
Go for S24Plus ✔️
If you want maybe the best smallish Android phone get the s24 you're right but if you want the best Android phone at that price I'd say get the OnePlus 12 cameras are better ,battery life is better, The screen is bigger in higher resolution, external speakers are way better I can tell you that from personal experience. Software it's a personal subjective thing though OnePlus is definitely not stock it's simpler than the Samsungwhich is definitely more feature-packed but a little crowded I don't know if that's the right word but. I currently own both and we'll get rid of one because you know I can't keep two ... pragmatic side says sell one so I'm not sure which yet. I could talk about the positives of the s24 but you just watched the video on it so there's no sense on that.
Can you get good lock and gestures on OnePlus? I can't live without wipe left gesture for search with keyboard for apps.
What about mi 14 ? Small but not very small, good cameras ?

No slack at the S24, but I'm pretty happy I got my S23 and it's the only year where worldwide it's a snapdragon 8Gen 2 variant. Where I live, the S24 is most probably an Exynos variant, and while I think Sammy have made improvements, I don't want to be experimental fodder anymore.
