Good video amigo! I like doing the Mike Leonard method that is posted in the BGH forum, I use a ski pole and paint roller to don’t get it on my self and use it as a walking stick as well lol, I heard from Josh Welch from Utah that Steve Gallentine came up with the method of the paint rollers any ways I still do it just to give the trailing notion on my young dogs and then using it on a trainer that I release a hour before I take the dogs, make sure is legal in your state before doing a trainer, hardly ever catch the trainers lol, any ways keep posting amigo y Dios le bendiga.

Thanks for making this. I have some hound pups I’ll be training on bobcats this year and was looking into the grawes scents, I really appreciate your insights. Definitely would like to see more training videos!

The guy that sold grawes scent passed away quite some time ago know. Year or 2.. not sure if anyone has taken over the business. He lived up in my country, was quite the character. Enjoyed talking with him and hearing his hunting stories. Hard to get off the phone, miss him

Absolutely like to see more! That grawes lion scent sure hangs around in the sinus cavity a while after you get a whiff of it!

My top dirt lion dogs never trailed on those scents as pups. Theyd chase it but not trail it. Later I quit with the scent dragging but still use it as a puppy chew and treeing tool to get them started. That's just my experience with those scents and how I use them.

Maybe a taxidermy would have scent glands from cat?
Seems to work well that stuff

I had Cavens fresh preserved bobcat meat/glands,a bobcat gland, bobcat urine. Do bobcat tracks smell like lions? Keep the vids rolling.

Had a guy from town who trapped a ton of feral cats from a farm,! He dumped them up the road from our place the pups ran into them as I was irritating! Those pups trailed those cats every day! Finally they got rid of those feral cats! Best lion dogs I ever had! HAPPY HUNTTING

Something is better than nothing, hate to see dogs not being hunted. I don’t know if you live where you can turn them loose but domestic cats are good at starting young dogs.
