It must have been a horrible experience going down and much worse coming up, but finding ice age bones is awesome! Thanks for what you all went through. Congratulations on the incredible finds!

Here the most important thing is not what was found but the journey into the cold, wet and cramped bowels of the Earth. Caves are unpleasant and mysterious places, but they are also magnetic. I suppose we love it because we have so many of them within our own consciousness. But these are scarier, deeper, darker caves.

It is aa bit frustrating, bc it is so difficult to date, but knowing extinction dates is valuable here.

8:21 what kind of idiot would tell a group of women about an accident where they are about to go? You are supposed go at a slow pace and keep the group calm.

Is it possible much of the findings have washed in. The presence of human effluent is concerning in terms of health and safety.

I wonder if neolithic brits had a british accent already. 🤔
I'm right surprised that mammoths and hippos were cave dwellers.

“We have to breathe IN to get through.”
    Breathing “in” makes one LARGER.
The audience is not so ignorant as the presenter would have us believe.
Still, nice to follow the “Charlie’s Angels” of archaeology.

I find it humorous how dramatic they make the journey into the cave, imagine doing it 10k years ago with rope made from plant fibers and torches we've become so soft as we've "progressed". Still a cool episode though
