Alex McWhorter i agree, they seem like they prefer looks over skill, thats why their dances aren't POWERFUL but more peaceful i guess? Although I barely stan the 48 groups now because all the members I liked graduated, you can still tell the difference between SNH48 and AKB48
@Khyati Dwivedi Yeah but everything overall seems weak in vocals, stage presence, and dance skill (lacking power despite the elegance concept and not in synch). A group that has an elegance concept and is still related somewhat to the 48 groups is IZ*ONE who dances with power and in synch. If 7senses (sub unit of snh48) could transfer that Korean training (I’m sorry but it’s proven to be better than idol training anywhere else which is why Japanese and Chinese groups go there for it) they got for a few months in CUBE entertainment to the rest of the main group, then they’ll be better or better yet send the whole group there. It’s not like they have to even follow the 48 group concept of “growing skills over time” (ineffective imo) as they broke away from the Japanese company since 2015 giving them leeway to change things up as they desire unless fans will boycott as the original Japanese standard of lacking in skills isn’t followed anymore.

And about stage performances I agree with you, and about dancing, why should you talk about being powerful while their dancing has to be elegant? I feel that SNH48 already knows their weaknesses so they prefer MV themes with fantasy and kingdom themes, rather than MV themes others who need a powerful dance,and add stories on their mv and one more, i think they are in synch.
