I've been watching a lot of "how to" videos for editing. The one thing that stands out from the others, with your video, is how you use the red box to indicate just where we are suppose to move the cursor and click. Thanks for making some really great tutorials.
Im more of an adobe illustrator person with minimal use of photoshop , I must say your tutorial, and tip has increase my photoshop techniques 100% thAnks a million I luv them.... keep doing An awesome job..
Thanks Jesus. As a complete PS newbie I've followed and saved a load of your vids and they have helped me immensely get through the maze that is Photoshop!
Thank you!!! You were right, the 'Select Subject' tool really did get better over time (in Photoshop 2021 anyway), I didn't even need to select hair flyaways - they were already selected! Mind blowing 🤯
This falls in the category of "definitely bookmark for future use." I enjoy your tutorials - they are clear and not too fast-paced, which is a very good thing. Also, they are relaxed and pleasant to watch!
I go to Full Sail and I have a project due with a deadline. Everything is all online with my instructors being in different time zones. Id like to really thank you for showing me how to do this because this was not explained well AT ALL in school. IDk why I'm even investing in so much money for this school because the teaching is not up to par! You saved me so much time and frustration. Thank you.
I find all your tutorials informative. I might have known something or how to do something but it seems that you manage to provide something new every time. You do a good job of explaining how the tools work so that what you have learned can be applied to other projects. Thank You
This is by far the best photoshop tutorial I have watched. I love how thorough you are. For new photoshop users like me, it can be challenging to follow along when people don't show all the steps and assume the viewer knows things that they may not. Also, I love how to-the-point your video is and how you show both the long way and the shortcuts. Great video!
This was SO HELPFUL! I found this video to learn how to place text behind an object in Photoshop, but ended up learning lots of little shortcuts that can be used for other projects!
This is super helpful. I love how you highlight the little buttons. I'm new to Photoshop and the way you explain things is super easy to follow and learn
Masking the Text "group" is something new I will have to try. I've always, for this kind of result, made a layer on the bottom with a copy of the masked out subject on the top layer, and placed my text layer between the 2. Same results, but your way allows for 1 less layer required reducing the overall file size. Good stuff, will definitely try it.
Photoshop is so intimidating, so everything is new. Your approach and topics are fun, informative and demystify this awesome program. Keep up the great work!
This was an easy tutorial, I probably would have done it the same way. But all those small things you explained really help a lot and make an 'unnecessary' video quite helpful. Thanks man!
Jesus, yes this was my first exposure to this technique, but I much enjoyed the special effect it creates. And, although it was not your primary purpose, you also explained the "select and mask" process better than most. Thank you.
Thanks! I am very new to layers and really enjoyed the simplicity of the instructions. I turned on the text which made it much easier to follow. Lots to learn in this tutorial on how the different tools work.
Love your videos. I work with photoshop since 2003. And this upgrades make my life so much easy. I still work some of my projects with Ps CS6. But, when I try those new features.... wow!! blow my mind. Thank You to show the new way of making thing in photoshop.!! It's been so helpful! Keep the good work! I'm a fan!
Very helpful and useful...and yes, some of these techniques were new to me. Your teaching style is excellent...slow, complete, explanatory...I enjoy your videos immensely.
Perfect, thank you very much. Had to search a bit for the 'invert' button as it was hidden for me, but otherwise, completely smooth process for something I thought might be significanty more difficult. Thank you very much !!!
You're doing a really good job. Your channel has become the only source of learning photoshop where I always get attracted to. Keep making such videos. And thanks a lot!!!
Great tutorial Jesus - particularly like your clear, easy, relaxed style and the clarity of where you are going at any given point within Photoshop - the red box thing is a great idea! Many Thanks.
We'reworking on this exact method in class and for the life of me I couldn't understand. You video was SO helpful! I have a feeling I'm going to be watching all of your videos!
Hey awesome. I'm using Photoshop Elements 2020, and my Inverse is grayed out, but i used yout Alt layer mask combo trick on the text layer group, it worked perfectly...thanks for that cool tip

Lots of good tips here. I'm digging the mask applied to the group instead of just the layer. That's definitely going to be clutch.
