Joe Carr is a legend! He has brought us glories in the past as football fans so let’s support him financially in his retirement. I do believe Acheampong would have live up to his promise if his government was not overthrown in 1978.
I’m in love with this show, hv heard of these old players but never seen them in real or any videos of them..my grandfather told me a lot about them and I’m happy hearing from them. Keep it coming 👍🏽👍🏽
Mr Dan Kweku . Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job by interviewing old our forgotten legends and heroes of Ghana footballers both club and national .keep up the good job I really love your programme. Watching from England almost everyday whenever I see any new programme. It really reminds me of my childhood
Point of correction, I WAS A RESERVE GOALKEEPER FOR INDEC, THEN IN 2ND DIV, IN1961/2 IN A KNOCKOUT GAME V/S CAPECOAST DWARFS WITH ROBERT MENSAH IN THE GOAL. THE GAME ENDED 3-2 IN FAVOUR OF DWARFS AT THE CAPECOAST STADIUM. LATE UNCLE BOB SUAPEM WAS MY TRAINER AT THE AGE BETWEEN 16/17. Began my debut with AFRAH UNITED, WESTERN LIGHTS, AND TAADI ALL SCHOOLS V/S SEKONDI ALL SCHOOLS AT (4"11") LEVEL. PARTICIPATED WITH INDEC AT ELIMINA ( BAKATUE) FESTIVAL. THANKS 4 UR RETURNTIVE MEMORY.
I think he should list the names of the older players behind the frame so if he’s not around the players could be identified. He’s done well remembering all those players from 1977.
DKY ,YOU ARE A VERY PATRIOTIC GHANAIAN, FOR BRINGING THIS LIVING LEGEND TO OUE SITTING ROOMS..THANK YOU,..THE PLAYER WAS EDWIN CONDUAH, AK MENSAH, ATTU MENSAH, WILSON, ROBERT KWOFIE
Kwaku, this interview and that of Ntow Djan is the best so far. In fact I watched all the players he mentioned in the group pictures and they were the best and disciplined players than those who are playing today.
Kwaku this is another great interview. Joe Carr dived like a frog. I watched him when I a kid. I didn't know he is still alive. Thanks for bringing our hero to us. Keep up the good work!
I rate this interview second to Ntow Gyan's. An eye-opening experience to all your fans, Kwaku. Honestly, Joe Carr is a wonderful master story teller! I love the Benin experience: (... ''My hand .... is dislocated'') Lol!!!
He has a great memory that he remembers all events during his playing days. He also gives proper timelines. Such another brilliant interview that I’ve watched 🙏🏿

The Black stars bus was burnt in 1973. It was during a world cup qualifier. The score was Ghana 3 Nigeria 2. Okala slapped Kwasi Owusu during Ghana, Nigeria annual friendship games

Interesting interview. Joe Carr is a true legend, with such a good memory. Growing up as a kid I heard Akakpo Patron`s name but I don't know much about him. @DKY, could u pls look for him and interview him for us?
Kwaku , I am a Sunyanii boy who lived with the late Power house( Kwasi Owusu ) at the Tonsuam Estate. He told us what exactly happened between him and Nigerian keeper Okala. According to Kwasi, a corner kick was awarded to Ghana when Okala tried to jump and punch the ball when he stepped on Okala's feet making it difficult for him to jump to punch the ball and the keeper slapped him when he was pinned down by Kwasi Owusu making it difficult for him to jump.
It’s true, the Nigerians burnt the Black Stars’ bus. I was then a teenager in middle school. Those were the days of power and good soccer. Well done Joe Carr
To got to interview owusu mensah , alhaji Bello,Hesse odamtte ,Adolf Armah, Kodi abbrey, Peter lamptey, polo, kuuku dadzie, Tony Micah,Sam suppey, many more
Ghana football Authority is a disgrace without a doubt. These are people who supposed to be running affairs be it coaching or in football administration. But they have been left without any support from GFA since they retired . Their talents has been wasted for nothing . What a shame . It really break my heart when I see these old players being wasted for nothing .

Not only Nimo, remember Alanka, AnyWay and the k3ky3hene himself Tofeee? I wonder what happened to all of them.
Where is Nimo
All these factories just collapsed kɛkɛ
