Yeah, we all get the irony. But pointing out is the equivalent of being that jackass who purposefully waits for the other person to say "May I?" After they've said "Can I?" At this point, you and the rest of us already know that "limiting screen use" is just another way to communicate that we need to be responsible with technology. You already know it means getting off social media, silencing notifications, and just using your device for things like listening to music or watching an exercise video. Yes, you can split hairs and make these types of comments. But quite frankly, it doesn't make you look clever ot insightful. It makes you look like the person who doesn't get social cues and is annoying to talk to.
It’s not about avoiding tech, it’s avoiding distractions. Things that are too easy to pick up and put down without much engagement. By spending time with things we can engage with for longer than a second and not be so concerned about what’s happening later, that’s what heal’s you. Presence. You can do that with technology, but I think the closest the average person gets to this is driving and even the average person still keeps checking their damn phone. I still think it’s nothing to do with the tech and everything to do with your awareness that you don’t have to do anything but what you feel like doing in this moment. You don’t “need” to finish. You don’t need that chapter of that book to be done or that paper to be written or that thing to be cleaned or waiting for responses over comments for people to reply if only for you to say the response you’ve already thought about ahead of time….rather than…enjoying the conversation. Paying attention to what that click bait article was ACTUALLY talking about, doing actual research on your phone, not roaming through pictures looking for the next dopamine hit but consciously looking at and appreciating each one, playing a good video game and finding yourself captivated by the story(none of this candy crusher crap). Technology is our friend but often we take it for granted and let it turn us into crummy people, those crummy behaviors in turn make us feel crummy and then we look for something to blame rather than realizing maybe we just needed some nice tunes to listen to so we can stop feeling like everything is running away from us so we can stop chasing after things and appreciate what’s right in front of your faces. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. my insomnia came back and just bothered me so much these days and i felt restless my entire break like: panicking about next quarter, self deprecating thoughts, constant need to improve, brain fatigue from thinking, breakdowns here and there, and just general paralysis (inability to do anything from fear). now that im back to academics, i feel a little more at ease (ironic i know) since i have something to do. i want to try being better mental wise and just a better person overall. good grades and mental health is hard to balance. i hate feeling like this, i really want to get well and be that girl who wakes up early easily, works out (im trying this out), goes to school and does good in it, has amazing friends (i have great friends, but i feel like im distancing myself from them again), and comes home to skincare, then sleeps early, wakes up and is glad they wake up. it's just so hard.. :((

I want you to know that you are wonderful and so bright. Having insomnia can be very challenging, as someone who is a student too. It can be very hard to prioritize our health but take this as a gentle reminder to do so (I recommend rain sounds I have a playlist with rain sounds in it to help those who need better sleep). I study psychology and it is vital to take care of your body, mind and spirit ( make sure to do so little by little). When it comes to wanting change in your life, take it positively, you have this yearning for change because it is destined for you! Remain positive and know that it is okay to have down days too. As for your friends, hold close to the ones who care about you. Also, know that distance is okay too. I recommend journaling your thoughts, dreams and goals and believing them to be true (manifest). ( I took a break from creating for many reasons, for one to re-brand my channel but also for my own mental health) I hope to be back to create more playlists for you all. You are loved! Humans are a triad. We are body soul (what modern-thinking calls "mind") and spirit. The soul is where our emotions, dreams and ambitions are. It is not a good compass to direct our lives. To "follow one's heart" as culture tells us, is not only foolish, but also dangerous. How many mistakes have we made for following what we thought was right at the time? Perhaps a relationship that left us broken, a move that left us destitute, a word that left wounds in someone else. Our soul is unable to lead. When our soul is sick, i.e. our emotions, our body also starts to manifest symptoms. Think autoimmune disease. It usually is triggered after stressful events. Fibromyalgia also. The concept of psychosomatic disorders comes from two greek words: "psyche", mind; and "soma", body, joined together. Sick soul brings about a sick body. In the selfcare movement people tend to prioritize their bodies and souls, but fail to understand the most important aspect of our lives, which is the spirit. This is the very force that can make or break one's life. Our spirituals can be poisoned by the things we watch, think, and hear. Watching p***, watching series about murder, sex or what have you, listening to garbage music... all that has an effect in our spirits, which in turn seeps into our souls, affecting our emotions, and then proceeds to take over our entire beings. Someone with a strong spirit can endure much more than someone who hasn't got one. Think two terminally ill patients, one has developed their spiritual life and the other doesn't. The first will often have much more resilience and ease whilst coping, whereas the latter tends to suffer more. A strong enough spirit can carry a weak body. We strengthen our spiritual lives by seeking out to God in prayer, reading the Bible, and also fasting. Jesus is the shepherd of our souls. And he mend our broken spirits. He gives us a new Spirit to dwell within us. Call out to him.

Making your bed first thing in the morning is a "scam". You are thirsty, where is all that water from your body? As moisture your bed. Let that moisture evaporate for at least 1 hour before making the bed, otherwise you just shut it even deeper inside the mattress and bedlinen (=mold etc.) Thanks, your bed. Have a good morning.
