Hey! I'm not sure if you've removed the email address since it's been a year that this video has been uploaded. But I'm in Canada and would love to purchase a board to try and convert my galaxys edge vader hilt. Please let me know if you're still offering this! I can't seem to find much info so I'm gonna wing it based on videos I've watched and any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)
I really love this channel! I bought a Savi's Workshop saber and was left pretty disappointed. I've been shopping around at different manufacturers of saber parts and can't make up my mind on who to go with. The thought of building my own from scratch is awesome! I've been looking for someone for a while that took it upon themselves to build one pretty much from scratch. Thank you for giving me the spark to take this on myself. I'll be picking up the tubing and proffieboard soon and printing that STL file you linked. Thank you again for all of the awesome info!!!
This is super helpful! I'm building a lightsaber for my schools science fair and I wasn't sure how I was going to do it, then I stumbled across your channel!
your the best thanks for these tutorials! they explain a lot!! something that would help just a bit is just doing more in depth things when your soldering and showing where each wire goes. other than that your the best thank you!!
Nice build, looks really good, only things I would have done different, is for $20 more you could have got a pcb connectors and holders for the hilt and the blade to make the blade removable for easy storage, also done some weathering on the hilt to just finish off the rugged look, just a simple coat of miniature black wash ink and sprayed with lacquer to stop it rubbing off. Apart from that, really nice job. Also if people are struggling to get a proffie board, there are others that are just as good, you go for golden harvest, CFX or Verso. They're all good quality Soundboards which are open source and programmable, they all have clash on bash, smoothswing etc.
Real nice and informative, only waiting for buttons and then i can finish my build. As i didn't know when you would come with a board, i went for a Warsabers board.
Would you consider doing a software tutorial as well for the proffieboards? You do a great job explaining and could maybe make the process simpler for us rookies?
Thank you so much! Your tutorials are great and have inspired me to build my own sabers!! Your designs are well thought, practical but not too fancy, and everything can be achieved with basic material which by the way you entirely list. Helps bring the costs down a lot if you just have the right tools. You tackle installation issues I was worried about like how to fit a 28mm speaker with a 1inch chassis and how to install buttons (which looks like a tricky part indeed). Nice editing too. Thanks again :)
I have a question, if I get an empty hilt and I already have a proffie board from crimson dawn-with weird prongs at the top that I believe is for a neopixel blade not entirely sure-would I need any additional electronics to fit a neo blade? Or can it fit into the chassis/board?
I have followed your link to the sound font but can not seem to be able to find the download button. Where on the screen of reddit would that be located.
It's in the about tab of the channel. The email doesn't show on app or mobile version for some reason. And I cant display it in the description or it will be filled with spam.
@@helx9965 The Proffie is basically = to the Crystal Focus X in a lot of ways, except that the Proffie has slightly more features since it is open source, though since it is open source, it is harder to program and use than the Crystal Focus X. Both boards are good but the Crystal Focus X is about 30-40 dollars more expensive, but has better ease of use than the Proffie.
FYI My email is in the “about” section on the channel homepage. It doesn’t show on the app or mobile version of UA-cam for some reason.
Hi, what is the cost of the Proffieboard?
@@sivannaidoo193 like 50 bucks or so, there's a shortage rn

The link is in one of the comments
Do you custom? Like installing electronics in to a empty hilt? Great video btw
What soldering iron do you use and solder do you use?
Hi brother, between korbanth, 89 sabers and roman props, which is easier to install electronics?
Can you recommend the best size and type of solder?
I'm highly interested in your sound boards! I just sent an email. Keep up the creativity!
It's not his, it's proffie...
Could I put a profile in a baselit?
Are you still doing these builds?
Could you do the same thing but with a cfx board?
very good and informative video! but I did everything as you did in your vid and mine is not working.. :(
what gauge wires do you use
Do you need to have 2 buttons on ur hilt?
Man I need my saber wired and some LEDs put in it how much would you charge me?
Very cool, whats your email for the boards?
It's in the about tab of the channel. The email doesn't show on app or mobile version for some reason. And I cant display it in the description or it will be filled with spam.
excuse me i have a question. what kind of wires did you use for this video ?
22awg to the battery and LEDs (anything with power). 28awg for everything else
Are you still selling your profie boards?
I need that proffie I can’t find one anywhere
thesaberarmory.com/collections/sound-boards I ordered there yesterday, It doesn't say they are out of stock.
How expensive is the proffieboard?
It’s about $55 depending where you get it
@@StateofBuild oh, that's much cheaper than I thought lol

@@jomama6937 thanks for the info 👍
Are you still building lightsabers?
Could I follow the same steps but instead of an LED use Neopixel?
This is Neo-Pixel saber... So yes
Oh awesome! Thanks for everything your doing!
Sell me the board
