Honestly, this was a wasted opportunity. IW could have put a secret ending right here, that wouldn't be canon, obviously, because CoD prints money, where you kill Makarov and crisis averted, Russia doesn't go to war with the US and so on and so forth.

I found out that without mods if you run away from the ambulance at the end, the cutscene still happens and you still get shot, but you get shot behind like 5 different walls lol

What’s suspicious of shepherd from the start is how he doesn’t just tell Allen to find a chance to take a shot and kill Makarov, which would be super easy to accomplish during the terrorist attack. It’s not like they had to track anyone behind Makarov at that point, he was the boss from then on and out.
When you realize Allen would have definitely seem Yuri attempt to warn the authorities, yet did absolutely nothing to maybe help out with that

It is, I tried it. You can kill them if you shoot their head, but it doesn't do anything to the story. Nothing happens if you kill them.

In MW3, There’s a mission where after Soap died and Price negotiates with Yuri about the Makarov, there is a flashback that you can stop the massacre on the airport, but it’s impossible because you can’t kill him before fall unconscious, maybe it’s possible to mod it for fun? (it would be funny if it happens)

This all could have been avoided if price killed makarov in the assassination mission
If you actually did that remastered of mw you'll get a trophy called paradox
Well, Price didn't know about Makarov, but he could have finished Zakhaev by shooting one more time instead of hoping that he would die because of blood loss. If he did this Zakhaev wouldn't promote Makarov.
You should try and find Yuri, he was on the airport in his flashback back in MW3 when Price was warned by Soap that Makarov knows Yuri

What happens if you wait to kill Makarov at the end? This way the ambulance spawns as normal, but you kill him as they climb into it before you go up for him to shoot you.
That's honestly smart of Makarov to use an ambulance to escape. I just realized that. There's been a mass shooting. Of course there will be ambulances, and they can use the sirens to clear the way.
It's still a horrific mission. I never skip it, but I pretty much never participate.

I believe the reason why the flights don’t appear delayed is because Makorov and his team haven’t hit a certain check point for the animation of all the signs turning delayed to occur
I love how easily Alexei could of killed all of them if this was a real life scenario. He could of, stayed a little further back then gun them down when they start shooting, or use the grenade launcher then drop it and start firing his LMG.

Ok so here is the cannon story. Refusing to fire on innocent civilians, the player instead chooses to take out Makarov right now and shoots the crew sent to kill the civs. Saving the air port, he is claimed a hero by Russia and the US, and is returned back to task force 141 to help on any other missions. He also gets medical help for Yuri

-killing at least half of makarovs crew
-get trophy with description “Stop the massacre”

In the MW2 remastered you can shoot sheperd when you run the gauntlet thing in the beginning and you get awarded a trophy but I don’t remember what it was

I know I’m late. But I believe the reason why the ambulance, police, and objective markers are broken. The doors you clipped through were also triggers. You need them to be open so everything can load properly and trigger the next area to run scripts
